If cash goes at the end of his contract then I could well be wrong but aren't we due a potential compensation fee for development? Imagine we could use formal written bids of £4mill from a prem team as a starting point for a compensation amount?
If a tribunal said the fee was £900k then we would rightly point to Brighton bids as his true value.

Your post just smacks of the goalpost moving that is very common on here. “Warne can’t beat good teams… no, not that good team, a different one… no, not just one, more than one”… we all know that will be coming on this forum. 

This is why I never write off a potential signing. Stats don't tell you the full picture, confidence, positioning, tactics, luck so many different factors to it, sometimes a player just gels at a certain time and club.
