Jesus H Clough! For god’ sake give over man! He's the ONLY person willing to pay an acceptable amount of someone else’s debt to acquire a club with nothing! Did you actually want the club to go under? You need to realise, there was not a long queue of rich people interested in spending money on DCFC and the sooner you negative bunch get over it, the better. Aim your bitterness where it should be aimed!

If someone shot your dog, would you be angry with the vet that saved it’s life? No, you blame the shooter ffs!

I know and not forgetting the Notts Forest, Leeds and every vindictive fan who has wished the worst for our club.
Decided to give it a while longer and no family or friends are awake to share with! Just lying in the dark listening to a noisy deer (who must be celebrating) and reading my phone and feeling a teeny bit tearful.

If CK is in US assume we can all do some work for a few hours while he gets his beauty sleep and then hit refresh all afternoon?

Honestly some of these posts, either extremely downbeat people or seriously starting to think they might be from Forest WUMs!!

There is nothing to suggest CK won’t get his deal done in the next few days. Nixon (call him what you want) has sources in both CK camp and EFL and is saying nothing to worry about. The fact the deadline has been extended until Monday strongly implies it’s close. We might end up with a further extension but I think CK will get in done in the next couple of weeks.
The ONLY way we will be liquidated is if the CK deal fails and we have no other buyers. That absolutely isn’t the case, we know Ashley is being active in the background, if the CK deal takes longer, or it falls through and they need longer to give Ashley a chance, then Q will secure more funding either from MSD or selling players, as long as there is interest in the club Q will find a way to keep it going, and the league will give us every opportunity to demonstrate funding we can continue.
So Monday isn’t doomsday, however the speed at which the administration exit happens could have significant consequences for the immediate future, sort it next week we could possibly bounce straight back, delay a month, we’re down there for a few seasons possibly have a relegation battle next season, if it lasts all summer and into next season (two months) then we could do a Bolton or a Coventry. Every day is pivotal to the short term future.

We don’t know what Ashley’s plan would be, most people are assuming he will pay Mel and minimal amount to the creditors resulting in -15, some say we’ll be a Phoenix club in league 2 - this in my opinion won’t happen as there is no way enough of the 72 clubs will vote it through. Personally I think -15 is likely with Ashley but we’re speculating. But we’re not speculating about his interest in the club, this is out there through reputable journalists, and I heard his people (Lee Charnley) have had meetings with local councillors. He wouldnt be doing that if he didn’t want the club. If CK fails I fully expect Ashley will conclude a deal.

Is MA owning the club a good thing, I don’t know possibly long term but the sheer fact it would mean adding more time to the process Rooney and players leaving, add in a possible -15 points, we could end up with at least a couple of years down there, whereas conclude this quickly and we still have the massive momentum from this season which quite possibly has been the most positive relegation of all time.

Apparently Sunderland have already sold 20,000 season tickets for next season - which is yet another reason why we need this takeover completed fast

Although an avid reader, I rarely contribute to this site, but couldn’t let the season pass without a ‘Shout Out’ for Rams TV.
Throughout a traumatic season, although in many ways a hugely enjoyable one, there have been many accolades for the Team, Coaching Staff and back room staff. Part of that back room staff has been Rams TV and what a part they have played this season, although rarely mentioned in those accolades.
Dare I say that Owen Bradley has been one of Mel Morris’s best signings! I admired him on Radio Derby but he has grown to a new level over the last year or so (despite occasional dress malfunctions!). Always professional, reasoned and grounded (Mr Dawes at RD take note), his commentaries and interviews are always a good listen. Shaun Barker has added to mix this year and has been very listenable. A great combination.
I am sure that our potential new owner has been avidly watching their work in the USA over the last few weeks and hopefully, after the players, he will ensure that they are signed up for a prolonged period.
I don’t know if Owen reads this site, but if not, and someone knows him, please pass on, at least my thanks for his great work this year. He is the spokesperson for Rams TV but obviously has a great team behind him.
    Well done Rams TV

Anyone remember Bjorn Otto Bragstad from Norway.
He came with a fantastic reputation at club & international level & once he was here, did absolutely nothing and allegedly only took the deal so he could fund the building of a luxury log cabin back in Norway
