He was often our most dangerous player? Goals and assists stats would be useful here.

If stats indicated how good a player was then players like choupa-moting wouldn't keep getting high profile moves in the world's best teams , he scored 3 in 22 for psg then got a move to bayern Munich,  stats don't reflect the actual game 9 times out of 10 , but if jozwiak done all the work then put through Lawrence and he passes it to Colin then Colin and Lawrence get the improved stats , not jozwiak and that happend quite a lot last year

Just posted this on the Transfer Forum....

We need more decent players, not less.

Last season, despite illogical substitutions, he was often our most dangerous player.

After one game this season, so many are wanting him gone.

Wingers are inconsistent, it's part of their nature, give the lad a chance when the team is fully assembled and operating at its maximum.

This! Honestly between some of the comments I'm seeing about him and the library attendees we had In the east stand yesterday after not being able to get in a ground in so long I'm losing the will to live with some rams fans ??

  3. This has to be the dumbest idea I've ever heard , are you serious? He plays well for Poland surrounded by world class players he doesn't look out of place , add the fact he's gone on record to say he struggled last year in a new country alone and then beilik getting injured being the only player he shares a common connection with at the time ,  and everyone played terrible last year lets face it and they have been playing championship football for years, his ability on the ball to hold it up and beat a man before passing is way beyond that of any other player we have currently , yes his decision making last minute has been questionable,  but if he had that in abundance currently then he wouldn't be here currently would he? Other than sibbo he's the only attacking player I see currently capable of taking on a man , he tracks back regular and grafts all game not to mention the ground he makes up with his pace to stop the other team breaking,  can we sin-bin people for uneducated silly posts??

  4. I was in the easy, stand right by the away fans and was really disappointed with the support everyone showed, me and my dad felt like the only one getting up shouting support ( near the away side anyway can't speak for the other side) but the east side definitely weren't a 12th man today , proud of the team performance none the less

I don't know. It could be he's just reeled them off and not realised. Or he didn't want to say anything before Aluko to Ipswich had been announced. Although he could have said that Aluko is on his way to another club.

Hmm, won't be surprised if we see none of them then

Why have we signed Allsop? Surely a waste of a slot.

Agreed , why the hell have we got another gk? Roos and Marshall doesn't warrant another especially not one that's played at this level for 1 season over established championship goalies including an international , what a waste of time and resources and a space in the golden 23 ?

Not really unfortunately no looking at the trialists, none have really ever been prolific. Realistic we need to score 50 to stand a chance. 2 players get 10, 4 players score 5 then you would need 10 from the rest. Is that possible from what we have? Unlikely I’d say.

    CKR - 10

    TL - 10

Knight, Joz, Baldock, Aluko, Sibley - 5 (big ask from Joz, Aluko and Sibley isn’t fancied)

Then 5-10 total from the rest of the squad.

For me it looks a big big ask.

I will keep the faith though COYR.

Yes agreed , big task but hopefully we can pull it off

Looking at the squad we will need to spread the goals out but a just cannot see where they will come from. You could expect 10 each from CKR and TL but then that still needs a hell of a lot more to make up the rest.

I cant see either of them hitting 10 sadly , but yes even if they do you would need a good team contribution of goals to be in safe position , reckon any of the trialists could?

Let’s be honest if we can find a way of getting Joz and Lawrence playing and on form that will be a big plus for us.

On paper if they were on form that's a very good set of wingers , trouble is even if they are on form it's unlikely they'll have anyone prolific to feed , love Colin but he's not likely to get more than last year ?‍♂️  so it's wether Stretton,  plange or cybulksi make the step up this year ?‍♂️

Correct. And let's not forget how unthreatening we were without him when he was out injured.

The inconsistent tag gets thrown around a lot with him, and it has been so often with our creative players over the years and shocker, they're Championship wingers. Nature of the beast. If you're asked to be the main creative force and make things happen, some weeks you're going to be a bit crap.

If he was constantly hitting double figures he would of been gone a few seasons ago , he's the best we have currently and I think he is definitely the kind of player that needs an arm round him for confidence, I'll be cheering him on from the East stand on Saturday ???

  11. Since 2015, only Tom ince and Johnny Russell have scored over 5 goals consistently from the wing other than lawrence and Russell done it 3 seasons and failed 2 seasons , so he is unfairly treated In my opinion too , he had his worst season stats wise this season but let's be honest everyone did ?‍♂️
