Sorry, I meant how they started with criminal profiling.
I liked this because it didn't flatter the FBI. US-produced stuff does have a tendency to make itself look great.
But at the end of the day, it's all personal tastes, and Mrs Badger wasn't a massive fan.

The FBI was founded in 1908.
I get that many find this series intriguing, it is a matter of taste and perhaps I have become a bit jaded

Just finished Mindhunter.  That was a mixed bag.  I hope the FBI are still as inept as they were in the early 70's, there was some really shoddy police work going on, leads not followed until too late, making minds up before facts were in while ignoring other evidence.  The idea came to me that Sherlock Holmes should be required reading for all FBI men, just before I went nah.  The stars of this show are the serial killers, the fella playing Ed Kemper really earned his pay, I have seen all the interviews with Kemper and it was like he was there.
The private life of the three main characters was to say the least boring and had nothing to do with anything, did not add dept to the characters, most were already clearly defined, needing no broader picture.  The character of Bill was perhaps the only one that could use a bit of background, even as he was a regular crew cut bulldog cop kind of character not surprisingly clumsy in marital, fatherly and household affairs
Not getting anything over a 7 from me, too many subplots and irritating side characters for my liking.

That's the thing about artists, they can often do more than one thing and if they're old school, they're required to
Hey thanks for that @Cisse I enjoyed

Quiet salute to Bolton fans tonight. We've been there. It's brutal to finish a convincing third, only to fall short in playoffs 🫡😞
Best of luck for next season 🍻

People who point out that people who start threads stating no replies then reply should note that person may be replying to a moderating comment not an opinion.
Also they are a big meanie.

Terry Reid, rocks somewhat forgotten man thanks to his management.  Had to turn down some jobs and recommended  Robert Plant to Jimmy Page for one of them.  Plus a rather uptempo version of Gimme some Lovin i've always liked played live at the first Glastonbury.

I know this will trigger some people! But I was reading Simon Jordan's book and he talked about Palace's promotion to the Premier League and all the riches that awaited. He then dissected all the promotion bonuses he needed to pay, all the fees for players with add ons, then the agents on within an instant asking for an increase in wages, then the additional costs for being in a higher league. Before getting into buying new players who want more money because they know they are needed to take you to the next level.
Obviously it's a different scenario but as the link @oldben sent shows, all the clubs who compete with the parachute payment clubs are pretty much spending more than their turnover on players/players wages
It's a pretty desperate picture for an owner and I really hope fans aren't going to start to turn on Clowes if/when he doesn't fancy throwing away many more millions of his own hard-earned cash.

Phillip Cocu and Nigel Clough are the only two managers in the past 20 years that cared more about (and prioritised) the wellbeing of the club as opposed to their own personal goals.
Phillip Cocu and Nigel Clough are the only two managers in the past 20 years who could build a team to an identity.
Phillip Cocu will achieve more in his managerial career (a last 16 Champions League spot and top division title on his resume) than any other Derby manager for the next 50+ years.

Much to my delight, our cat Baldur is a music lover and has his own sense of taste.  Not much into the hard rock, yet.
I can tell when he's enjoying a tune, he'll jump into my lap, pretend to nap, or begin grooming.
    Of course he enjoyed this.

Hiring Phillip Cocu was a colossal mistake.  He was too lazy to study what works in the Championship before taking on the job and too self absorbed and blinkered to recognize that his style of football wasn't working and wouldn't.
