We'll if that's the case, I think we all need to get back to battle stations again.
No point losing the momentum we put in we have all had a break lets get back to it with the MP'S and Social Media again as all the traction we got will be lost and we will need to start the process again.
The delay is so we can't buy anyone until the window shuts Can't re-sign our own players again and the EFL win again. It's all smoke and Mirrors.

Bringing the game into disrepute. Interfering in the finances of other clubs.

Quick question if both claims go to full arbitration and are proven to be false can we go after them for the problems they have caused

Hope the latest isn't true and we can settle things today and announce a PB by the end of the week. If it's Ashley (which, to be honest, I still hope it is), I can see why it's dragging out but surely it doesn't make sense to take so long we lose our best assets.
Also, for the sake of the mental health of many, I hope this is resolved soon.

Agree. We could lose more of the squad if offers come in, unable to add to the squad and contracts running down.
In other words being asset stripped

Death by a thousand cuts best sums this whole mess up. We all want the club to survive and it just drags on and on and on.
Tbf as mad as it seems let's just sack the whole thing off and start again.

Problem is with things like this is that he will have sources from the EFL, Derby and anyone else drip feeding information to suit their image.
Best bet is ignoring all the different rumours and just waiting. It is brutally painful, but you are only going to get more and more fretted about the situation if you keep reading into what these people are saying.

Is this the same Alan Nixon that said on Friday we had proof of funding through Rich Riley, or a different one?

Don’t see the point of another month.
If the EFL won’t rule on the “football/non-football creditor” thing now, they won’t next month either.
If Ashley/Appleby won’t take on the liability now then they won’t next month either. They could try and deal directly with MFC/WW to reduce the amount of their claims but they should have been doing that already if that’s the route they were going down.
In the meantime we take on MORE debt, and let MORE players go without being able to replace them.
Extending by another month would be torture and just another slash in the death by a thousand cuts routine.

I am off to the pub for Pie and chips and a couple of pints - hopefully something positive on the football front when I check in later please !

We'll be stripped bare by the vultures looking to get bargains if that's the case - all the good work done by Rooney & the players will be wasted if we have to rely on under-18s to see out the season.....

Exactly. Apologise to all 72 clubs, amend the rules to make them clearer with what amortisation method they wish clubs to use going forward. That's it.
It's ok putting out a 10pm statement saying they have no vendetta, but when they are forcing the club to rewrite its accounts for previous seasons, is it any wonder we feel a little aggrieved by.
What really gets my goat is, Gibson initially kicked off about the stadium sale, meanwhile the Forest owner down the road is moving players/money between his 2 clubs, season after season and no other owner has questioned who sets the valuations?
The fans of that club have the balls to laugh and call us cheats. For what exactly? I bet not one of them can clearly state what it is Derby have done wrong, they will mumble their way through a stadium how much, dodgy accounts line.
They belong down Hooters where all the other tits are on show.
Oh, back to Gibson, the guy who sold the clubs tax losses, how he can even think about even lifting his finger to point at other clubs is beyond me.
Anyway, sorry I quoted you in all this, every so often I just have to write it all down in the hope that someone, just one person looks at this and says, you know what, that's a bit dodgy what they are doing to Derby.

Ram a lamb a ding dong reacted to Crewton in How are you feeling now? @14/1/22
A sense of anticipation that the Administrators have a key meeting today which could open the way for a positive outcome, then remembering that their meeting is with the EFL and the realisation that nothing will be resolved.

Yes, apart from the promotion part ?
I think the fact that, in 2013/14 & 2014/15, when we operated comfortably within FFP yet saw FFP cheats like QPR, Leicester, Watford and Bournemouth promoted ahead of us to no great outcry and zero recompense, with accompanying gloating and self-justification from fans of the miscreants, made allot of us turn a blind eye to the overspending in the belief that MM would always cover his commitments.

I've bit my lip long enough.....
I'm not Interested in MM one bit. He is 100% to blame for all this and clearly doesn't care much for the people of Derby, especially with us being dragged through the mire.
If it were me I would hold up my hands admit I've screwed up and do what I can to put things right before sailing off in to the sunset. If he had no links with Derbyshire you could make excuse for him. The fact he's from Derby makes it downright shameful.
If I had the money I would bail the club out as I know what the club means to the people of Derby. It absolutely breaks me that I could have taken my Grandson to PP for the last time and it is all down to MM
