Because it depends on whether it’s bruising, a partial ligament tear, or a full ligament tear.
You’d expect a full tear to be possible to diagnose via the amount of movement in the joint, but swelling can mask that.
i speak from personal experience of having had PCL partial tear, ACL partial tear, medial ligament partial tear, full ACL tear requiring reconstruction.
In each case, only a scan or an arthroscopy could truly determine the extent of the damage.
George is that you?

The gypsy curse returns? How is Warne making lemonade? All speculation about Collins being out, not sure if OB was on a wind up but said could be the season could be 24hrs.
NML proved again he's a nightmare through the middle, do we switch our play come away from a crossing game 433 with him at centre. We have CBT Barks Wilson and possibly Ward you could play on the wings. I believe you run at defenders in this league you'll cause way more problems than putting crosses in.
Do we look at getting Gayle on a free? What's your play if you're Warne?

Wrote in the matchday thread how solid we look then inevitably two of them had to come off and Shrews score.
Keep Adams Nyambe Cash Nelson fit not much will get passed us rest of the season. If we Billy 1 nil Davies our way to the championship I don't care how we get there.

Maybe so- but doesn’t really explain why he took him off….. strange one.
Shrews didn't look like doing anything before that probably expected them to be open for a late breakaway Wilson having the legs, went against him this time.

When they scored wasn’t there a Shrewsbury player nearly standing on our goal line, he was behind wildsmith ?????
Can't blame anything other than Wilson switched off watching the runner and Wildsmith should've done better imo
-
Sickener that, Warne will get stick for taking Nyambe off and it led to the goal, but had he not and they scored he'd of got the same stick for leaving his subs too late.
-
Another great set piece, been very good all game.

Subs not switched on gutting that

I was thinking that last week at Charlton with Adams, Nelson and Bradley looking very strong.
Add in to that Nyambe and NML we're solid all over

Nyambe decked two f their players through being a sheer beast
We've not looked this solid with strong players all over the park for years, say what you like about Warnes style but we won't get outmuscled by many.

Imagine a George Thorne from the 13/14 season, but left footed, a year younger and not injury prone.
ACL incoming now 😅

What's special about this young Blackburn lad they've just managed to sell for £22m? @B4ev6is would agree it's 20m or not for sale!

Got to hope they take points off Portsmouth and Bolton before we play them again at the end of the month
Reminded me of us a little when we couldn't get it working up top, defense to final third they looked good then rushed the final ball, if the new faces start clicking then hopefully like you say Pompey and Bolton won't have it easy against them.
-
If Charlton get it together up the top they'll cause a few teams around us some problems in the run in. Defensively we looked solid, wasn't too worried when the pressure was on. On to the next one 🐏

Ruthless! NML needs to be a CF.

This whole "they won't be fit" thing is nonsense imo. Do people think footballers are sat in their pants watching netflix until a club comes calling? If they're professional they'll be in shape all year round and potentially training with other clubs anyway.

Dubois quit against Usyk after being thoroughly outclassed.
The robbery line is laughable. First off It was a low blow, and secondly there is no proof Usyk wouldn’t have beaten the count.
The latest with Fury is a shame. A freak incident seems like a cover up for what was a big blow in sparring.
His belt was about up to his nipples, Usyk is weak to the body and he'll get found out again. Fully believe Fury takes him out, he got complacent and didn't train for Ngannou he never does that twice in a row.

Fury pulled out of the Usyk fight after a nasty cut. What a shock. Never had the intention of fighting Usyk and it's the second time he's pulled out.
Awful bloke.
Fury looked in good shape I don't think anyone will fear Usyk after Dubois got robbed against him. In fairness it should be Dubois vs Ngannou for the undisputed heavy weight titles if boxing wasn't so corrupt.

Ah right, no wonder no teams made any signings.
He also admitted we're pretty rubbish with overseas recruitment and that needs addressing, said that we won't go into the same mess we've just come out of throwing money at players which again is fair enough I think
