heard great things so watched it with high hopes. Expectations too high sadly, thought it was good without being special

Great up until season 4, then gets a bit too clever for itself. Takes the characters in a strange direction too. One of the things that optimised the earlier seasons was the humour. Season 1 and 2 are excellent.

Yep, I get that. Same as when I was younger and played youth football. My query was footymum saying that someone who is 16 going into September would play U16. That’s not the case. If they’re 16 before 1st September, they would usually by going into the U17. Feel like it’s all irrelevant anyway

Just watched it. I’m the same, so far my theories have proved correct. I’m waiting for the next twist though.

That’s not how things work with the Derby the past few seasons though. There have been a number of times when players have been linked and signed within a couple of days. The club is very good at keeping tight lipped. I imagine in all the chaos and confusion at the minute, some info could slip but it’s just as likely that very few people know the names and are keeping them hidden away at the minute.
I think with 6 days to go, there’s still time. And with some frees being looked at, they can be signed later on too

That would be disappointing, considering Rooney has stated he’s been told to line players up and we were already short of options before the 2 left. I reckon we will see at least 1 in, either a loan or free, ideally 2 or 3.

I've heard/read similar to you. But like everything over the past few months, we have no guarantee that will happen. I asked the question to Ryan, and he thinks that’s still going to happen and then the embargo will be lifted and it’s a mad week of rushing.

It was also suggested that he wasn’t allowed to play a couple of games when he was 15 because he had to do his homework. I am telling you now, there is no chance in hell that boy ever did any homework. I would be surprised if he attended school.

Fair enough. This is my opinion too. There’s just this idea in my head that he may listen to a former player who understands him (a little bit) but it seems his attitude towards training and application is (and has always been) way off

Absolutely not. He is proof that you can have all the talent in the world, but if your head isn't in the right place it doesn't matter.
He has been given chance after chance and it hasn't worked anywhere. We should steer well clear.

No, but definitely watch the original as well. Both are some of the best British family films you could ask for. It’s wholesome watching. Everyone will enjoy them as there is genuinely something for everyone in the stories. 2 is better than 1, which is a rare thing when the first film in a series is good!

Die Hard 2: Die Harder. Watch Die Hard every Christmas, so thought I would give the sequel a go. Hadn’t seen it in so long, and it was on Prime.
It’s not as good as good as the first one - there’s less threat as McClain moves around the world with more skill, villain is less likeable/despicable, action is bigger but maybe not better. It’s a good action film, but doesn’t hit high expectations set by first.

There’s 7 episodes of series 2 up on Disney+ Currently, with at least 1 more to go next Friday. You sign up on a month by month basis, so if you sign up and then cancel it will stop after a month. If you haven’t used it before, you can get a months trial free.

Ah but that’s the beauty of it, who is actually the ‘good guy’? Mando is a bounty hunter who has shown he will hunt anyone for a price, although his morals can get in the way.
The rebels just get in the way. Not your traditional goodies. Mando is going to rely on people working outside of the law to help him achieve his good deed. Makes for a more compelling series.
