Yeah, ArialRam, VerdanaRam and TimesNewRomanRam were a total waste of space. Gill Sans has posted something today which is ultra bold. Time will tell whether she knows owt.

Sorry jimbo but your totaly failing to make your point ,, Morris owned derby lock stock and barrel, he held total power to run it ( run it down ) however he decided and nobody had the power to stop him , he even did away with having any kind of a proper functioning board , derby county football club are every bit the victim to this man as the creditors ,, it’s a point the EFL could well do with recognising too along with other clubs and other clubs fans

For any inter-bank transfer there is a 16 digit TRN code. The TRN code is a unique reference number used to identify individual payment or securities settlement instructions and the recipient can quite easily request it from the issuing bank. It beggars belief that Quantuma would not have requested the code in order to verify that funds have actually been transferred.
If they have and have and their bank has confirmed that the TRN is valid, likewise the value of the transfer, then there's the reason Quantuma have provided deadline extensions. Not because I doubt CK's word. I don't know him well enough to do so. But simply because to fail to do so once the transfer is delayed indicates a total and utter dereliction of their duties as highly paid administrators.
To avoid landing the forum owner in deep doodoo, I'll refrain from saying what I really think, but I would hope that when the dust settles on this, which I believe it will quite soon, the IPC needs to have a bloody good look at Quantuma and whether or not their handling of this administration has in any way met the standards expected of a professional insolvency practitioner. Think I'd best leave it there other than to say that I really hope folk are not getting too upset tonight and that anyone who is feeling particularly troubled should probably take the weekend off trawling the forum and other socials as it seems unlikely that there will be further meaningful movement before Monday, if then.

Priority is survival. Sole concern is survival.
Promotion can wait.

My guess is Appleby, Moxey, Rush etc lost their major investor earlier in the year but if Morgan is now onboard, that could be very good news indeed
I just wonder if Rooney would stay on with them. I think at this stage, he obviously is with Kirchner, very unlikely to with Ashley as owner but what about Morgan et al?

At least now there is a clear message to Kirchner - and at least two viable interested parties teeing up potential offers. It's all ridiculously late in the day, but it's important to keep that in mind.

You know what, @Crewton, I think we should set up a Just Giving page on the dcfc fans forum. Please give generously. Several Forest fans including Matt Forde & Stuart Broad have offered to do a sponsored cycle ride to raise funds. I volunteered to be the marshal directing them towards the nearest cliff.

Well last week we were told the takeover could be delayed till Wednesday.
Which Wednesday wasn’t specified.

As it’s a slow news day, here’s an assessment the current situation, with apologies to Star Wars.

I don't think I am a negative poster but I can't help but be uncomfortable at the number of times we have been told over the last year that deals are expected to be done in a certain time frame only to find there are still a number of obstacles between our club and safety. They may get resolved in the next 24 hours but may not and I have to say that I am getting tired of continually being told that everything will be sorted very soon. It may well be sorted soon but for how long have we been told that? I love my club but I am so fed up with all the missed dates and delays and bank holiday problems. This scenario has been happening for such a long time now. It's like a roller coaster ride - up one day and down the next. really hope something good will happen soon.

Asanovic70 reacted to Ambitious in POLL: Nottingham Forest's return season to the Premier League
This is the cycle of English football. It's difficult for any side that won promotion without parachute payments to sustain in the Premier League, especially if they were reliant on the loan market in the first instance (which arguably gives you the best chance of being competitive in the Championship to begin with).
However, on the flip side, they will get relegated and be £60m ahead of everyone else in this division so really in order to break the cycle either need to smash the recruitment out of the park OR fumble recruitment so much that they fall into the also-rans of the Championship once again. You either need to be exceptionally bad or exceptionally good to break the cycle.
Stoke - exceptionally bad. Brighton - exceptionally good.
It's not uncommon for a team to stay up in the Premier League, even if they were unfancied: Huddersfield, Sheffield United, etc. Typically, though, it's unsustainable as they both proved.
