I really, really, still can’t see it, but If Warne does actually sign Sharp it will only reinforce my belief that he has seriously limited managerial and coaching abilities, that will only ever get him personally as high in the footballing pyramid as that of a ‘bottom 6 Championship scrapper’.

A first choice older striker? Are Collins and Washington not old enough?
Have been reasonably impressed by the business DCFC have done so far this window, but have found our hunt for a striker quite bemusing.

What’s available? Or what’s available on our budget?
There’s better forwards available and by the sounds of it they would take less to buy than the fees we got for Knight alone, let alone Knight and Bielik.
I appreciate I don’t know all the inner workings of our current financial situation but I do find it strange, and even a bit frustrating, that we seem to be once again largely unable to spend money on new signings.
