Shouldn't we be switching from 4-2-3-1 in neutral/defensive parts of the game to 4-1-3-2 when attacking?
-
On me hols, sadly can't make it. Looking forward to the season though.

What genius planned the new M&S?
You think it’s bad now? Wait til Xmas shopping.True - But the problem is access to Costco and specifically the petrol station.
Remove that and most of the roundabout blockages will disappear.

Awful lot of retired players here on thread that specifically states 'Still Playing'
Tomori and Mount for me.

Build new training pitches on the nature reserve behind the ground and turn Moor Farm into a nature reserve.
Be better to move Costco elsewhere and turn that area into a new training ground. Traffic round there is horrendous and that's with road improvements.
Wtf is wrong with planners? No sodding clue.

I like Rosenior but he lacks charisma, would love Jody Morris to have a bash.

Hm ... so Q decided not to consider a bid from billionaire MA, with unquestionable football experience.
They overlooked Applebys consortium, a man with years of experience of managing derby previously. A man who didn't previously leave derby in a huge amount of debt.
Q has once again selected a person with zero experience of managing a football club.
Mm was supposedly a derby fan, who was a local businessman with a lot of money. Yet he left the club in a horrible place.
So now Q send in the clowns, I mean Clowes, is he similar person to MM. On paper it would appear, that way, at least in as much as he's meant to be a fan of derby and is wealthy local.
Like mm he's supposedly a long term fan of derby county.
I can't understand Q reasoning here.
Surely Appleby or MM would be better owners of derby, than a total unknown.
Actually what am I saying, Q just have to put forward the highest bid as the preferred bidder.
They don't really care if its in the best interests of the fans.
I wonder if Q will face legal action from Appleby of MA on this, only time will tell.

Portsmouth fan here in peace.
I'm guessing that some of you will have seen that we have previous with Andronikou involved as an administrator with us; and fair to say that those of our support who remember him hold him in utter contempt.
I sincerely hope you manage to rid yourself of Morris' tenure and are able to move on properly from all this without him having any control over any of the assets your club needs to move forward.
Look after yourselves - and hopefully when we meet next season things will be on a bit more of an even keel for you.
Thanks for that.
Ahh, school trips to Butser Hill, Marwell Zoo
When I was at school in Hamble, Pompey fans were known as scummers, is that still the case? or do you call each other that ?Been a while, mind.
I've often considered Pompey and Southampton to be a little bit like Derby and Forest.
Have you renamed the M27 to be Harry Redknapp Way, yet?

The obvious conclusion is that either he hasn't sent it or the 'check' has come back positive. But Nixon is adamant that the monet will arrive and Quantuma appear to still consider him a bidder. It's all very strange.
Well, there's the problem for CK.
He needs to plop or get off the louvre.

Well, I'm all in for the Kirch.
It's going to happen, say goodbye to your misery, your negativity; Wave away thoughts of Mike Ashley or Andy Appleby or string-pulling Mel.
100% behind him.
(Chris, if you read this, I never wavered once, honest)

Does Brighton count as 2?
FA cup final
FA Cup Final replay
?
- admira and Ghost of Clough

Sunderland then, FA Cup?
-
Is it one of each, either or? I have to say the question lacks clarity.
Clearly one of the answers is us. Cannot be Forest or Leicester because they've done both. Is that how it works?

An enjoyable weekend where you knew nothing was going to happen and you could just get on with things.
Will today finally be the day this nightmare is over?
Nope.

The place I worked for in Worthing had a consultant software developer called Michael Hunt, and in Bognor there is, or was, a company called Wayne Kerr.

You've stayed in Blackpool more than once?
Never been, or to Skegness.
I'm probably far too posh.

We've been to the Jura (Domaine du Chalain) in Eastern France about half dozen times and love it. Also been to near Saumer.
This year we're in Le Bugue (19 miles from Sarlat).
Thanks for your best wishes. She had the treatment (surgery, chemo and radiotherapy) just before Covid and everything seems to be OK now.
Mmm, not been to the Jura as yet, will have to consider that. I'll do some googling.
When I said eastern France I meant Alsace-Lorraine area, Colmar in particular and its environs is lovely and you can pop into Germany or Switzerland for the day.

Whereabouts in the Loire? We’ve been there a few times.
We’re driving (as in I’m doing all the driving) to a site in the Dordogne in 5 weeks. We’re not resort people and can’t even be doing with hotels. Our first overseas holiday since Covid, my mum passing away and my wife’s cancer diagnosis. I think we deserve one.
Near Saumur if I recall.
Yes, I do all the driving as well ?
Dordogne is nice, been to Sarlat (Calviac), Bergerac (Saint Foy la Grande) and Les Eyzies on different trips but we don't like going to the same place twice.
Would definitely recommend Eastern France if you haven't been already.
Sorry to hear about your mum and wife, hope it's not severe and can enjoy your time away.

Corfu has a lot of untouched, non-resort areas, as have all the Greek Islands.
I'm sure it does and i'm sure it's lovely.
It's just what we booked, well, we both weren't feeling the love so we changed it.
-
Cancelled my September trip to Corfu, we both thought about it and realised we're not resort people, never have been.
Booked a week on a campsite in the Loire instead, 6 weeks after 10 days at Lake Annecy, also on a campsite.

I kind of agree with @KBB to some extent.
Whilst I do live in Derby, it took me 50 years to get here and I'm not from the area so haven't developed the local hatred ( is that too strong?)
The only team I have any real dislike for is Leicester and that's because of the play-off final, their Admin shenanigans and the sickly media love-in they had.
I would have preferred Luton to go up as I went to school there for 4 years, or Huddersfield because of great Aunt Minnie who's funeral I attended.
Dad was a Wednesday fan so not Sheff Utd either.
Huddersfield it is then ?
