IlsonDerby reacted to Ghost of Clough in Academy thread 23/24
That's right. They've now won all 11 of their official U18 games. This was the first time they failed to score at least 2 goals (and were very fortunate to get the 1 they did get). Wheeldon is also the last player to score against them, way back on October 7th, having only conceded 6 all season.

Manus under 18s are a class above aren’t they this season?
and we’ve pushed them all the way despite them poaching loads of our best players during admin who’d be in our under 18 side now.
Very proud day for our under 18s

Much respect to you and your partner, David, you are doing a wonderful thing for the boys.
My father adopted his granddaughter in his old age, my much younger brother had no secure housing, which is required and the mother was not up to the parenting task, so to save the girl from the social services road, he and my stepmother did this, but with doubts that it would be of much help. The girl was troubled when she came to them, but changed immensely for the better and is a fine young lady today. Father became her anchor in life.

You could have just left her to feed the baby in peace?

That's sad to read, mate.
I'm gonna cross my fingers and hope you are exaggerating.
There's no arguing they can and do bring heartache, but "Nothing but"? 🤷♂️
Even our granddaughter... who only lived for an hour... brought chunks of joy and positivity with her. And she can still make us smile occasionally, almost 8 years on.

Think hundreds of supporters will stand regardless so the sensible thing to do is to make those higher up areas more safe for those who do stand.
It’s football not the opera so it’s unreasonable to tell everyone they have to sit.
atleast now it’s very clear - there are certain areas where standing is very much encouraged/allowed and if you want to stand all game you should migrate to those areas when renewing STs and vice versa - move away from Those areas if you’d rather sit. we have to cater to the different kinds of fans at the ground whilst trying to support creating a strong atmosphere too.

I think you’re on the money for someone who just watched the results coming in. For the poor b******* who had to sit through 98 minutes of that though…

Lots of whining about a ref here to mask deficiencies of our team.
Crap performance. On to Thursday.

If he’s caught him in the area no matter the level of contact he’s going down and the refs giving it and we’d be screaming blue murder if it was the other way round and wasn’t given. From the ramstv angle it looked like he clipped him but if you’ve seen from the game a clearer angle with no contact then fair enough.
