I think most DCFC fans are hacked off with the EFL.
That is the thing I regret most about Morris opting out - I would have loved to have seen him take on the EFL
and challenge their 9 point deduction. He did not think we should get any points deducted apparently.
I think he had a reasonable case.

Ask most of us in our seventies if we wanted to be in our twenties now and starting out we’d probably say no!
Was life better IN the seventies?
No, but most things, particularly house prices were less then in real terms. (As a percentage of earned income.)
Music has never been better than it was in the sixties but has never been more accessible than it is now!
Technology has shrunk the world beyond anything we imagined back in the day!
I don’t believe that life is more dangerous nowadays, we just get to hear about bad things much sooner and in more graphic detail nowadays. All it takes is a mobile phone and everything is recorded.

Little Angry went for diesel yesterday, could only put £30 in his gas guzzler. He queued with everyone else, the road was glogged up and chaos followed. He had to travel for work today and £30 would not have covered his journey, so he had to go to another petrol station and queued again, more congestion. Does the £30 limit make things worse? I can see both sides.

My daughter is married to a Philpott and 4 of my grandkids have the name.
When the singing starts, I look at my grandson at the side of me to see his reaction,  it's normally a smile followed by a swear word.
We know we don't burn our kids and we ignore it.

I've only just managed to uncover what was sung about Billy Sharp and I have to say it is disrespectful and not something I'd join in with but it's really not a big deal
Yeah, its not very nice. He's well within his rights to say he doesn't like us for it...well who would like to hear that said about themselves?
But it's not even in the top 10% of horrendous things I've heard at the football. Nowhere near. Horrible things like that were commonplace 10/15 years ago so to turn it into a generational thing where its "just these modern kids with their modern ways" is ludicrous.
I'd rather we weren't singing it but please spare us all the mock outrage

Got no issue with condemning chants at all. Clearly there are some things which should be off limits. The two things that annoy me are people getting offended on behalf of other people, and moreso, believing that we are somehow special in our support and that these type of things aren't at every single club - whether that's right or wrong, is irrelevant, it's just true.

    My aren't we precious!!!
So we want to fill pride park, but only if the people meet the standards set by a certain few.
Get over yourself, Derby fans are no better than fans of other clubs up and down the country, no worse either.
We have idiots and it seems we have some perfect angels who think videoing fellow Rams to get them banned just as the club needs all the money it can get, is a good idea.
I wish I'd been born perfect.

Horrible chanting and behaviour at football happens at virtually all clubs. Horrific chanting etc has often happened at Derby just like other teams. It’s a social problem, a football problem and a cultural one where it’s ok to abuse people because it’s football. Unsurprised if sections of Derby fans were singing awful things towards Billy Sharp (no idea if it happened as I wasn’t there).

Derby are disliked now because of the assumption of cheating. Whether that has happened or not it says something about football that UEFA are letting off super league powers like Juventus for starting a breakaway league but Derby could be fined loads of points due to accountancy policies.

The vote which utterly screwed this country for ever more (or at least the rest of my life) was five years ago. The figures relating to relative wages for lorry drivers are from 2020-21.
The fact that we unceremoniously threw out - or made unwelcome to the point of making them spend Christmas 2020 in a bloody car park in Kent - tens of thousands of lorry drivers - doesn't strike me as the most effective way of enticing them back again, only for us to throw them out again on December 24, 2021.
Equally, the fact that the only region of the United Kingdom which is not suffering logistically-induced fuel, food and commodity shortages is, coincidentally, the only region of the United Kingdom which still enjoys, to a certain extent, freedom of movement. This, coupled with the fact that the 27 members of the EU are also seemingly inoculated from our sceptered-isle-specific 'sunlit upland teething problems' is as utterly infuriating now as it ever was. I'm sick of saying "I told you so".
Next question? I have many more rants available.

They are making money out of identity politics which has got that bad a Labour MP had online threats not to attend the Labour Party conference because she said only women have a cervix. If we could get rid of identity politics we could get rid of the online click baiting.
