From the EFL rule book. I await the EFLs action against Wycombe for their remarks today. (I won't hold me breath)

As I understand the situation we have been fined £100,000, in football terms a derisory amount. I would normally call this one hell of a result!
We are also required to resubmit our financial submissions to the EFL taking into account the “correct” method of revaluation of player registrations by the 18th August 2021. This should not be a shock or a surprise to anyone, as soon as the EFL won the appeal it was obvious that this would need to happen. I would imagine that DCFC recalculations were completed some time ago.
Hopefully the revised figures will pass FFP requirements, if not then we face a probable point deduction next season.
However in an attempt perhaps to save face the EFL claims that they have drawn two sets of fixtures allowing Wycombe to replace DCFC in the Championship this coming season, in certain somewhat unlikely circumstances.
I have to ask why they have gone to the trouble of announcing this? There was no need to say anything, they could have kept it quiet. The EFL it seems are intent on destroying our historic club. Few players will even consider signing for us with this knowledge and in these circumstances, relegation this season seems inevitable even without a points deduction and with the possibility of L2 the following season. Certain people it would seem are mindlessly pursuing a personal vendetta against our owner and in the process are willing to destroy one of the football leagues founding members.
Who supervises the EFL? Try Googling it. The answer is seemingly nobody, they can do as they wish - if you don’t like it - tough. My own suggestion is contact your MP, write, email or call, ask him or her to raise a question in Parliament- why not!
I believe that the club has been far too passive, almost submissive so far. Bully’s don’t like it when you fight back.

Even better if you make it an open letter copied to the media and accompanied with a 100k cheque. We just need a coordinating organisation.

I would be amazed if one club defaming another club is not itself a breach of EFL rules. If not it should be.

If 4000 supporters donate the price of one match ticket £25 we would raise the 100k. I would gladly do it. Think it would say a lot and raise a lot of positive publicity if paid with an open letter to the press stating our disgust at the way the efl are behaving. Any money raised over the target sum to be donated to breast and prostrate cancer research. I would gladly pay.

This seemed to get at least a bit of support in principle. Would for example Rams Trust pick this up? Needs an organisation with existing banking facilities and contacts in the media. If it got going my money would be there before the end of the day. Even if it fails the money could go to the charities named and would still be a positive story where the EFL could be named and shamed.

We need the DC full conclusions ASAP. It will tell us far more than we know now about what is likely over the next few weeks. Any one any idea how  long after the initial announcements before we get the report?

    In all seriousness…
For those of us that will receive this seasons season ticket F.O.C due to COVID blah blah. Would any of you fellow season ticket holders be opposed to depositing £5 on the gate for each home game this season just to help fund the club out of this mess we are in.

Obviously I know many will argue we aren’t getting this seasons ticket for free, but you know what I mean.
    Just a thought is all!

This has to be the post of the day....I mean do you really think the EFL are anything but a total disgrace...we are not blameless I've said as much but the fact its only a 100k fine says a lot and then to put out two sets of fixtures is nothing short of laughable!!
I love football but the game is going to the dogs and the EFL do not help one bit...we have all ben through so much over the last 18 months or so and every football club has suffered so do dig into figures regarding amortisation is a joke when clubs are struggling ...there is absolutely no point anyone with any big money behind them getting involved with EFL clubs
The EFL is supposed to be fair and look after clubs with FFP rules etc but yet dig and dig and appeal and bring clubs down rather than helping in any way and it is a disgrace....many clubs bend the rules but seem to be left alone but this is looking like a witch hunt to me with morons like Gibson sticking his oar in
Why look over the accounts from 4 years ago?? why ?? wasn't they checked at the time then ?
The damage that this uncertainty is doing could be felt for years and yet ALL clubs worldwide have had a disastrous period of uncertainty and yet the EFL want to keep going until they get what they want...we are not blameless no but the EFL are a bunch of ******* and thats a fact
