Well I guess we'll find out this week if he signs or not eh...for what it's worth I thought he looked OK for the 15 or 20 mins he came on during the Sheff Utd game.

The thing with Waggy as a free agent is that he's on £0 a week... I agree he wouldn't be a starter ...I agree he'd get 10+ goals a season at this level...and also agree that he'd give us depth to the squad... which we don't have on the front line. Not an ideal but younger more prolific players don't exist at this level...

Washy is same age as Rhodes and is a free agent [I think]....

Yes. I agree ... is this just "journalism"... but in fairness most transfer rumours are just that aren't they.
Looking at his stats his most prolific period was 2009 - 2016 when he scored 170 in 316 matches... which is a great return... but since then he's more like a 1 in 5/6 player. But aged 33 and used as on "off the bench" player arriving on a free he could be a good option... that said is he a Warne type of player... I don't know...

Sonny Bradley is 32 in September... not saying he couldn't do a job here but doesn't seem to fit the Warne criteria....but....maybe I'm wrong....same goes for Flint...

Thinking about who we actually have on our books atm... Sibley would [maybe] seem the most likely able to pick up the role that McGoldrick had...anybody any thoughts on this ??

Not heard of him before. Looked on line and yes he looks like another James Collins. That said, if Collins picks up an injury we have no one atm...and in league 1 you need such players. I'd say we need 4 Strikers on our books...
