McRainy got a reaction from I know nothing in Random stuff that people do that annoy me
'One life, live it.'
Usually on the back of a land rover with bullbars and a wynch.
a) Reincarnation
b) Being 'alive' isn't synonymous with being a testosterone tourist, churning up the countryside and ruining green lanes for everyone else.
Four by four by duck off.

"Live, Laugh, Love".
If you need a written reminder of that on display in your house, I don't think I want to do any of those with you.

McRainy reacted to Ramchester in Pets
This is my boy Walter. I never wanted a pet let alone a dog, but he is awesome and I couldn't imagine not having him now! I'm having a pretty average time at home at the moment, but coming home to Walt, long walks, and his unconditional love never fail to put a smile on my face.

We’ve had Ziggy for just over a year now. He’s the perfect family dog - loves everybody, affectionate and loads of fun. He comes to work with me 4 days a week and is my best mate and shadow.
This is what he does when he needs a fuss and I’m ignoring him:
And this is him when he’s won and I’ve given in!

McRainy reacted to DarkFruitsRam7 in Apple
The constant need to bring out latest models at ridiculous prices pisses me off, plus all of the tax-dodging stuff (though I accept that pretty much every large corporation does the same).
However, iOS is far smoother, nicer to look at and easier to navigate than Android. My second-hand 6S still runs smoothly and I don't anticipate the need to replace it anytime soon. Guess I've just bought into the Apple machine.

Security: Excuse me, Madam, but we don't allow animals in the building.
Me: He's my guide dog.
Security: You are clearly not blind.
Dog: Anyway, in his later works Rothko employed a darker palette, which may reflect the decline in his mental health...

David - while we're getting used to the no politics, religion, sex regime please could you either leave up a locked thread or give an explanation (that's not for discussion or challenge) as to why a thread has been deleted?
As an example, the thread about the Skripals seems to have disappeared since I was online this morning. I presume it was thought to be political though when I left it, personally I don't think it was but maybe that changed. It would help explain the areas that are acceptable and those that are not.
