RodleyRam got a reaction from Wsm-ram in Karamoko Dembele
I wonder if we might see a slightly more nuanced approach for the Champ. Reckon he will want power and athleticism for sure but think there's an understanding that it'll take a little more guile to unlock higher quality defences.
Exciting to be linked with a player like this at any rate.

RodleyRam reacted to Day in Louie Sibley
Where’s this come from? Wouldn’t make any sense not to.
Even if Warne didn’t want him you would match his current contract, then say you’re backup at best. As a player at Sibley’s age and experience you would assume he’ll go elsewhere, then we get the compensation.

Without Sonny (and Cher) Bradley we wouldn't have been promoted...

RodleyRam got a reaction from Crewton in Worst Refereeing decision for and against Derby.
I recall being incensed by Pierre van Hooijdonk's elbow on Borbokis, which went unpunished and a disallowed goal by Christie, I think against Man United?
The Kewell dive and Martin red card were also shockers.

Nigel Clough showed on a number of occasions that he could set up a team to play beautiful football. Easily rivalling that of Mac1.
Just a shame he was always quick to put the brakes on to drag us to 50 points - but with a bottom 6 budget he did brilliantly when you consider what he inherited.

If Sam Rush hadn't sacked Nigel we would be in the Premier League now and wouldn't have had to go through administration

RodleyRam got a reaction from Comrade 86 in Max Bird - stay or go?
Not too manly to say I shed a tear watching Birdy's last interview as a Ram. I clearly lovely, respectful, hardworking, talented kid who we will miss. I'm sure the stats are out there but I always felt our dips in form coincided with his injuries, particularly last season.
Hope he uses his next step as a springboard on to bigger and better things (i.e. we re-sign him when we are in the prem).

RodleyRam reacted to BWFCNick in Congrats from a Wanderer
Hi all,
I just wanted to pop on and say congrats on a successful season and well deserved promotion. I know there's been some ill feeling between fans, mostly on the toxic social media platforms (not helped by a large number of idiots of which we at Bolton have f****** loads). I've scanned through your forum and a few others to regularly to check in on the thoughts of some of our promotion rivals over the season and as forums go, this one is generally positive and full of good and honest opinions. We have another fan called Wanderlust who often peruses the various forums and I feel he is a good fan for honest opinions too. I hope we can join you, I'm sure there's plenty of you hoping we stumble and end up stuck in L1 for at least another year, mainly for the fans who've been making stupid excuses for us not winning points this season. Reality is, you and Pompey were the most consistent teams over the season and thoroughly deserve your promotion, so well done and good luck in the championship next year. With your stadium and fanbase and what your fans have been through (trust me, I know what it feels like too), you deserve some good times now!
All the best gents (and ladies)

RodleyRam got a reaction from Caerphilly Ram in Every goal of this promotion season
I know they have their detractors but watching those early goals from Waggy and Wash makes me wonder if we could have challenged for the title if we had them fit for selection more often.
In saying that, if they were fit, we might not have gone for Gayle so I guess it's swings and roundabouts.
Great to watch all these key moments. Warne said consistently that the game is won and lost in the penalty box and this definitely highlights how good we were in that department.
Makes for nice watching!
