Scott129 reacted to MackworthRamIsGod in Transfer rumours
Would be a statement of intent.
Some good players from Iceland and fees are notoriously low, hence why mums go there.

Scott129 got a reaction from admira in A Place in the Sun
Don't think I've ever watched the show before but I enjoyed that. Congrats on the place as well.
Was the presenter the same off-camera as he was on? He seemed like a very happy chap 😂

I do not think that's a good price from our point of view.

That's nice - they've managed to fit both of their fans' names on it.

Scott129 reacted to G STAR RAM in UEFA Euro 2024 Thread
Doubt a comfortable 3-0 victory will be good enough to please the boo boys.
Anyone expecting a full blooded match 2 weeks before the Euros isn't very intelligent.

Scott129 reacted to Leeds Ram in Promotion pitch invasion
I would imagine with Portsmouth it was because there was a player injured which there was not at our place. It was all in good spirits, no-one was harmed and it looked and felt amazing.

Scott129 got a reaction from RoyMac5 in 24/25 Kits
A place to share kits of all teams and leagues for the 24/25. I believe we've done this for past seasons.
Stoke City
Decent kit, great intro video. Hope we do something similar in terms of announcements.
QPR
Meh.
Sunderland
I do like the texture on the red stripes.

Scott129 reacted to Stive Pesley in Generational Characteristics
Agreed. I think Boomers in particular struggle to get their heads around why Gen Z kids might have a different attitude to life and work than they did at that age.
The social contract for them was very much in tact. Study for free, get a job, work hard, be able to afford a nice house and a car, progress through the ranks, pay off mortgage and retire, with a society that will look after you along the way
As opposed to Gen Z who have to pay to study, leave Uni with a huge debt, get a job, work hard, but then have to take out more huge loans to be able to buy a tiny house and a crappy car - realise that if your job is in anything other than a small business, you are simply enslaved to a corporate machine who will bleed you dry for as little as they can get away with paying you. Society crumbling around you. If I were them, I'd probably want to lose myself in my smartphone too

Tomas Soucek bizarrely.

I'm going to be so gutted if Sibley leaves.
Not because I think he's an absolute gamechanger for us, but just for sentimentality reasons. That's three of our own gone in such a short space of time.

Scott129 got a reaction from taffyram in Punching above our weight. What do you think would elevate us above mid table next season?
Good question and I have no idea. It would be interesting to know, for example, how much Dylan Williams is currently on at Chelsea. He would have been on "pennies" here.
I bet there is also quite a big difference between wages of those on the books of United/Chelsea, and those from the likes of Bournemouth/Fulham.

We should sign whoever Villarreal are interested in just to assert our dominance.
That’s what a big club would do.

Ivan Sunjic has been released by Birmingham. Position of need and I've always considered him a Championship-quality player.

Scott129 got a reaction from Ram-Alf in Derbys a s**t hole I want to go home
I used to live in that block of flats about 5 or 6 years ago.
It used to have a huge problem with people leaving the main door open, druggies coming in, shooting up and smoking in the corridors, and then urinating in the stairwells and lifts. On more than one occasion, I came out of my door to find someone just asleep/passed out on the floor.
Horrendous place to live, even if it was relatively cheap.
