Should put all matters aside to support this gesture.

Good spot @RoyMac5
Makes me think that Quantuma have a plan, they're just not telling anyone what it is yet... at least I hope they've got a plan at this stage!

Sly reacted to Addingham Ram in Urgent Question on DCFC in Parliament
I too watched the whole debate.
I never thought I'd see the day when MPs from Nottingham and Leeds, as well as those from Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Pontypridd, and Rochdale amongst others, all supported our fight with the EFL.
And as for the MP for Bury - wow! That short speech alone totally embarrassed and shamed the EFL. I hope they were watching. Good on you sir!

Sly reacted to Miggins in Urgent Question on DCFC in Parliament
I'm guessing that many of those who were in the chamber this afternoon have a favourite club or have a close relative who is a fan of one team or another and know just how important that team is to those who support it. They have an idea of how they would feel if it was their club in Derby's position and the impact it would have on the beating heart of their town. They might also have been wondering which team will be next for punishment or demolition. I thought they all spoke very well and I was impressed with the level of understanding and support shown to us and the politeness and civility shown to each speaker. There's hope for politics yet.

Beckett, Perkins and Daley were brilliant. Very proud of our local MPs, but also those from farther afield that supported them.
One thing that is abundantly clear, the EFL as sole arbiters, are finished.

I really feel that this whole witch-hunt/vendetta against us by the EFL will be the beginning of the end for them. Whatever happens from now they have dug their own grave. If DCFC survive and bring down the EFL in the process it will be worth it.

Wow! What incredible support for our club and a general consensus that football is broken and needs fixing urgently.

Sly reacted to Day in Urgent Question on DCFC in Parliament
Absolutely, whilst this has seen a huge amount of support for Derby, the spotlight is also being shined on the EFL and Football governance.
If this brings change, it will be a huge positive to take from this mess.

James Daley (MP Bury), good man. Very emotional from him.

Bury MP ramming the point home. Well said my friend. Firmly said EFL found wanting in case of Bury and looking like the same is happening…

Margaret Beckett said fewest words but had the biggest impact!

Wow the support we seem to have in parliament is very good to see. Hopefully it is more than words.

Sly reacted to Steve Buckley’s Dog in The Administration Thread
I have had another Parry reply. Fair play to him but he conveniently ignores every direct question I ask which could be simply answered with a yes or no. I have sent another. Maybe he’ll have a look this evening. Unfortunately he missed MOTD last night as he was replying to lots of emails. Maybe he’ll miss MOTD 2 if we keep up the pressure. The tide is turning.
I know RamsTrust meet with the administrators but does anyone have email addresses for the other groups that do - BAWT is it and Punjabi Rams I think - so I can impart some information to them. Twitter is no good to me, it’s full of Gibsons.
Keep up the pressure everyone. Write to your MP, write to the EFL (maybe Trevor Birch is feeling left out), maybe ring them or forward the petition to people to sign. Now is not the time to sit idly by. Now is the time for action.

We’re Derby County - we’ll fight to the end.

Sly reacted to hintonsboots in Wayne Rooney
Maybe a catalyst to get the takeover sorted. New owners will definitely want Wayne in situ not only for his coaching/ motivational skills, but his value in raising the clubs profile and his contacts book ( no not that one )?
