Could have written this myself. I can take Derby not playing very well, I can almost take poor officials, but play acting and time wasting absolutely infuriates me. I don’t go to sit there fuming, it’s not very healthy. I don’t watch the premiership anymore either. 

This and the Ipswich game have pushed me over the edge. As soon as the opposition score a goal they go into this cheating (? No not technically but it should be) mode. You might as well go home at that point, because you know what the next 87, 65, 40, 35, 20, 10* minutes are going to involve.

any player that rolls back onto the pitch while ‘injured’ is obviously not injured and should be sent off.

I have been away so not seen / heard anything about the FGR game but if that’s true, a - he’s an idiot and b - he should be suspended (on the condition that everyone else is). My post isn’t about the fact that we didn’t win yesterday, that’s our own fault, it’s about the constant cheating we have to endure every home game we aren’t winning. Lincoln were the worst. Holding your head to stop the game, pretending you are seriously hurt in a potential life threatening way (which is why that rule was brought in) isn’t gamesmanship - it’s cheating. The refs watch it and happily see the physio rub the player’s leg - they should be booked or made to leave the pitch for a 5 minute concussion check, simple as that. It’s become endemic and second nature and needs clamping down on and isn’t really that hard to do. 

No, I’m sorry - it’s cheating and I am sick of watching it. Eddie Howe’s Burnley team stood out as despicable cheats but now we see it every week. Players holding their heads so the ref stops the game only to have the physio look at their foot, two players simultaneously needing treatment for no reason, players crawling on to the pitch to get treatment and the weak refs that let them get away with it, shoe laces needing tying, players with cramp, players getting cramp whilst aiding other players with cramp, goalkeepers told to feign injury whilst there is an impromptu team talk and re-organisation - it’s cheating. What makes it worse are the s*** refs who happily let it happen. If you want treatment and you are on the touch line having just crawled on to the pitch, crawl off it again. I’m sick and tired of watching it and this year has been far worse than anything I can ever remember. 

As I am sure you are all aware, there were two extremely serious injuries yesterday to their gallant numbers 22 and 33.
It was heartbreaking to see the 33 crawl pitifully back on to the pitch so he could reach a teammate and whisper his last words to pass on to his wife and children. The number 22 had a serious head injury requiring extensive physio work on his leg and again only the miraculous intervention of the highly trained medical staff delayed serious harm.
However, a friend of mine who works at the Royal, has reported that neither is likely to make it through another night. Can we please come together as a football family to pray hard for these brave warriors - real men - who gave so much to the game that we all love. 

It’s just boring. Turns a match from an interactive, exciting, absorbing and entertaining experience into a borefest.

I agree regarding the Villa final. Even before the game had started we were out sung by Villa. I know we were going into the game on a poor run of form and were deflated by the bizarre team selection but we were still high from the euphoria of the Leeds win and there were roughly the same number of Villa and Rams fans. I can’t put my finger on why it happened but I do seem to recall they had a larger block of singing fans. Perhaps they just do have more singing fans or it was something to do with how the tickets were sold but it was disappointing.

Covent Garden was a giant hoot though. Where else can you stand next to a Rams Fan/Porn Star whose tadger is insured for $1m whilst watching another Rams fan stand on the top of a phone box and strip naked to reveal a tadger that wasn’t insured at all 🤷‍♂️. All that did happen. 

I know I won’t be popular for saying this, but I don’t have much enthusiasm for a play off spot. You want to be going in on a run of good form, not a big dip.

Add Middlesbrough not getting promoted as well 

I wondered why their attendances were higher this season - it’s all the players and family and friends getting free tickets so that must add 500 every week  

Would be genuinely interested to hear a Forest fan's thoughts on their situation if/when they go down. They've spent a lot on players, be it on transfer fees, wages, or both. They're sure to have to sell most of what they've bought because those players won't want to play in the second tier or they won't be able to afford to keep them. They can offset their losses by selling Johnson, but they're going to have to take losses on most of their purchases because I can't really see any new arrivals whose value will have increased based on their showing at Forest.
I doubt @Red_Dawn will be able to tell me, because his internet tends to go down whenever Forest lose, maybe the tears flood the router, I'm not sure.
The other one will still be on Easter holidays for a few more days yet, so he should hopefully be about to give his take on their bleak, bleak future.

Leicester vs Bournemouth at the weekend. Lose at Villa and they're guaranteed to be in the relegation zone, with a run of top half sides coming up. I'm getting quite hopeful.
