I was just reading about Matt Clarke and the fact he’s not played for Middlesbrough for more than a year because of nerve damage in his back. Apparently he can’t even run without being in pain.
He played six games after signing for them from Brighton (£4.5m fee?) then hasn’t played since October 2022.
A real shame as I thought he was great at championship level. Hope he gets himself right. 

Depends how pedantic you want to be! Both could win three points (not at the same time, one could win three and the other one none), so both would lose two points compared to the three that they could have won. Or, the team that would have won no points would win one point, so that's actually worse.

Round of 16 is the last one to be regionalised. If we get through that one we could draw any remaining team in the quarters.

The one that got away was Chris Martin. Signed on a free and was set to complete a £6.6mlion permanent move to Fulham before Steve McLaren demanded him back. 

Extremely sad news.
I shall be wearing something pink tomorrow; in no way to disrespect our lost friend, but to celebrate his absolute passion.

Hello everyone, I’m Claire, Daniel’s (B4) sister. I am overwhelmed by your kind words, support, and the memories you have shared.  Thank you so much for the kindness and love you have all shown to Daniel over the years. My parents are working their way through all of the posts and will offer their own thanks in due course.
I wish I knew about the scraves, flanges and ballions before now. I wouldn’t have let Daniel live that down at home. This made my husband and I laugh this morning.
I will be wearing Daniel’s shirt and keeping his seat warm at the Bristol match. Really looking forward to hearing a big cheer and round of applause in the 38th minute, a goal at the time would be perfect!  Do please continue to share the picture with details of the applause. Let’s raise the roof for Daniel!!!
