Totally understand, not your words, I meant to clarify that. Just annoys me that the term is being used all the time for all these anti Isreal protests. One should be allowed to not like Isreal the state, the country, the policies, the regime, without being accused of not liking Jews. Like not liking Saudi Arabian or Iranian policies is not anti-Islamic. Not liking American policies is not anti-Christian. Etc. 

It suits israel and the msm that the terms anti semitism and anti zionism are conflated. In reality I think very few people are anti semitic - largely people don't know enough about Judaism to dislike it and most Jews that people meet are good people. Most people however, me included, do have many issues with the cruel policies of the state of israel and are rightly anti zionist.

i think it’s a real possibility. They’ve got Newcastle at home and Brighton away before the fa cup final. 
newcastle are not going to be a walk over. And when we’ve already realised the Man Utd can’t handle anyone more difficult than Burnley, then my moneys on Newcastle for that one, especially as it’s a bit of a 6pter for the coveted conference league place.
then Brighton can easily beat United at home, on their day. They’re all at around the same level this season. And if Brighton beat Chelsea, then Brighton vs United becomes a 6pter for the coveted 8th place. 
funnh thing is, as much as United have been sitting pretty in 6th for most of the season. I think there’s a real possibility that West Ham and Brighton could both overtake them in the last couple of games of the season, leaving them in 10th.
(of course the one fixture I hadn’t checked for that scenario was West Ham. They’ve got Man City away for their game. So scratch that, Man Utd in 9th, with Brighton over taking them on the last day). 
the fact that Chelsea can overtake them, after their abysmal season, is very damming. They are s***. 9th or 10th is probably a fair reflection on their real state.

Hold on, reading this thread after working all day, I thought they were safe. They’re only 3 pts ahead of Luton. They could still go down. We’re just looking for a 12 goal swing. I’m putting my money on it right now.

Purposely broke the rules then cried about it, honestly wish they'd given them another 2 points for appealing.

I suspect that hanging upside down in some sort of elaborate rotating cube was hardly conducive to singing at your best. What were they thinking? Also the fact that the optical illusion thing only worked if it was filmed from a static camera filling the frame meant that it almost felt like you were watching a promotional video rather than a Eurovision performance. By the time they broke out at the end it was a bit late. 
The Swiss entry was very similar to ours in most ways. LGBTQ singer, elaborate and unique staging, just that it was a way catchier song and his vocals were in another league. A deserved winner
Croatia was catchy but in the end a novelty song about leaving home and selling your cow was never going to have the same emotional connection as a deeply personal song about confronting your non-binary identity and finally feeling free.

I find it hard to believe that things could go wrong for Forest on the final day of the season due to a ridiculous goal difference swing. That would never happen would it.

it always reminds me of a time when I was a kid and I bought a premier league sticker album, and then went about 4 weeks pocket money, or about a fiver, on nothing but stickers for my album. And I got the football league stickers by mistake, not really knowing the difference. The football stickers, players etc. all seemed a lot more no nonsense, and a lot less razamataz with the football league stickers. 
at the time I liked the razamataz, I was young and foolish, but now, I just want to see Foyt all played in a compatible league where you’re never sure what might happen next.

He’s now showing all the talent and ability many here thought he had. He’s clearly premiership quality and on this form I’d expect a new deal being offered or Palace selling him for a sizeable fee, as he’s now triggered that 1 year extension based on appearances.
Totally deserves it, it really was wishful thinking he’d drop to the championship, as sadly for us, the way he’s playing now, he’s going to be playing premiership football for awhile.
So pleased for him though.
