All being well. 3 games lined up over Christmas if I can - the Baggies on Boxing Day, Stoke and Reading away.

What is all of this about accepting a reduction?
    Reduction from what?
First of all they need to charge us with something, then us be found guilty and then a points deduction applied as set out in the rule book.
Only at that time is there anything to be appealed, up until that point we are guilty of nothing and should be treated as such.

To the EFL themselves. I guess they set up a different panel to hear the appeal, and Wednesday were happy enough with the result to not challenge it further.
Without having an in depth knowledge of their case, it did seem pretty open and shut on the guilt, just the punishment was open to interpretation.
If we don't think we've broken any laws, or indeed stated rules, which seems to be the case, I'd lawyer up to the high heavens, encourage the auditors to do the same, and see them in court.

We got found out for doing something that wasn't against the rules. Don't you understand the difference between breaking the rules and doing something not covered by the rules?

Great thread this. With living overseas and not being able to get back home since the Christmas before Covid, I'd honestly pay very good money for a bag of fish, chips, peas and side of curry sauce right know! Having spoken with lots of exiled Brits, it's the one thing everyone misses. You're all right, pea mix, curry mix etc. is pretty much a colloquial Derby thing and is lost elsewhere. The joys of the English language.
Shelton Lock and George's in Alvaston are both pretty good and always get a visit when I'm back.
    Hopefully this Christmas.

I really don't understand why the club can't offer fans without a printer the opportunity to come to the ground a bit earlier and print there. I was on a plane the other day. At the airport they had a simple option of scanning your id in, finding your booking in the system and then being able to quickly print off your ticket. Doesn't need to be even this complex, a few laptops linked up to a few cheap printers would suffice.
I think some aren't bothering because they don't have printers but I think some might not be bothering because they feel like the club isn't bothered about them and appears to be unwilling to put simple solutions in place to help them. This I think has upset a lot of people and you can't blame them.
The club is a business and should be ran as such where the customer/fan is treated with kindness and respect. Sadly this is not the case right now.

Its the same principle as any other business surely, they make parting with your cash as easy as possible and let you feel as happy about it as they can.
Even basic shops.. don't have to provide baskets or have friendly staff willing to show you where things are or display prices clearly or have parking for you or clean the place or have a toilet...but it makes you more likely to shop there, so they do. Why give people a reason to go for another option? If you're buying a big item, a nice filtered coffee is a pittance compared to what you're buying but those touches are just basic sales techniques.
Recently DCFC seem to have the attitude of 'If you want to come, then you will'. Most fans just suck it up but fringe fans are drifting away already because of the myriad of other reasons, so I can't understand why we aren't going the opposite way and making buying tickets as easy, cheap and desirable as possible.

Brilliant. I didn't know that living overseas and assumed all the fuss was due to people not having printers. No excuses then. Should have been a sell out weeks ago!

From when I started going in 1966 up until 2019/20 season I proberbly missed 10 homes games if that, Travelled the Country far and wide, Froze half to death at Carlisle at a night match, Been served food that pigs woould turn down (a hot pork pie in Rotherham ?)Hearded on trains and treated like animals by the OB (which was a fare Cop)as we did the same to them, Queued up at silly o'clock for cup tickets many hours before the ticket office opened, Begged, Borrowed and sometimes stole money to watch Derby, Thought I was a dead un at the FA Cup semi at Hillsboro when United stormed across the pitch, Had bus windows smashed in when seated, Been clumped and clumped others who wanted it...more and much more.
BUT, There was a feeling of great pride and euforia following this club, Through Brian Clough leaving, To Dave McKay entering, The night Charlie George suffered his injury, The dark very dark days in the early 80s, Leeds and Chelsea trashing the Ossie end stands seats, Mike Waterson saying we have our own "Lunatic Fringe", Being relegated and being at Norwich singing we'll be back, The nights at the BBG in European football, A Juventus fan having his checked flag burnt when draped over the Ley stand, Alan Hinton missing that penalty, A cabbage patch of a pitch, Derby fan kicking a Fulham player, Malcom McDonald crying wanting to replay the match, Ian Storey-Moore  paraded on the pitch as our new player only for him to sign for United, Franny Lee and Norman Hunter sent off for the battle of the BBG, Trevor Christie scores from the spot when given a ghost penalty for us to be promoted...all in the 60s 70s and 80s...more and much more.
Derby move to PP everyone has a seat, We can all see the game, Sky TV arrive...football has changed but I didn't see it, Slowly prices would increase at the gates, More and more TV games are being shown on TV, Kick off times are changing, Playing on a Thursday now, We have 24-7 football, A £100million player, Billionaire foreign owners, Countrys owning football teams(PSG/Man City)FIFA/EUFA corrupt organisations(allways have been)The top players are treated like Hollywood film stars, MOTD they talk more than they show the games, Ex players explaining how the game is played...the same game i've just watched, Refs miked up, God damn awfull refs, VAR...big toes being caught offside, Games lasting over 100mins, Players caught by a gentle breeze and poleaxed then faking injury...more and much more.
Please don't blame us "old uns" for not undstanding modern techknowledgy, We all know the wheel has been invented, We most likely know someone who can sort out our problems(I do)but as things change in football things change for the supporter, There's more things to look forward to, This last 18 months and struggling to see family and friends, I found that football is NOT what I used to live for, There is another world out there it's called life...And there's more, Much, Much more.

Exactly this. There's a lot on here saying, 'I'd take 6 points' or 'I'd take 3 points' etc. Tragic that a large percentage of the fanbase would simply allow this to happen without knowing the facts of the case because they don't want to think about it anymore. Boo Hoo. This is and should be a non negotiable punishment based on facts and not something open to subjective negotiation on any part. Until we know exactly what has been breached (if anything) we shouldn't accept any 'punishment' from this shitshower of an organisation and fight on/back relentlessly.

My bet is this is all about face saving negotiations for the EFL.. The voices against us have to get some change for their efforts. The voices with us will be saying accept something just to close it.
3 points I am guessing .. not because we did anything wrong but because they have to give us something to justify their existence,
push it too far and their own integrity and motives will be questioned by those outside DCFC.
It stinks. Partisan, rules made up as they go along. Expressing disappointment when the can’t appeal a decision made by their own independent committee ? Thats not a governing body.

Percy' s motive is clickbait, thats how journalism is funded unfortunately, perhaps he's a bit behind his KPI target this week.
The EFL are completely and utterly fecking useless. If they have summat on us then punish us and state the exact crime we have committed. if they can't do that then they should feck off and tell Gibson to feck off then once they've fecked off they should feck off some more.

If the facts stand as you say then no we should not be in a position to negotiate. Why should we for breaking the rules? We can appeal but that is a different matter.
I was only commenting on those willing to accept a punishment without knowing what the punishment should be. Madness. Bonkers. Insane.
I do not believe this is just solely about the accounts now but we wait and see.
I don't think the club is wholly innocent but the debate should be whether a punishment is justified based on the facts. Like I said,I don't think this is just about the accounts now and the EFL are under pressure for as large a punishment as possible regardless. An appeal based on retrospective spending could be made absolutely and the EFL know this.
No I don't think any of us want the EFL to issue any punishment they want. We should appeal as sternly as we can if we have a case. It doesn't benefit anyone but it sets a precedent that says clubs should not be bullied into submission by an organisation that is actually there to protect all its members including us.
