SSD got a reaction from Miggins in The coronabrexit thread. I mean, coronavirus thread
Derby Arena Vaccination Centre has now closed. Thank you to every volunteer, nurse, administrator etc who did an incredible job getting them thousands of people through the doors and being so quick and efficient. You've done Derby and Derbyshire so proud. Much love from a proud Derby man ❤

Those two twits on SSN’s transfer show.
Twit 1 (Referring to Ronaldo) “ His preferred move was to Manchester City” Less than 10 seconds later “And now he’s got his dream move back to Old Trafford” ?
Twit 2 With the urgency of an announcement of Covid being a thing of the past and everlasting world peace declared “I got a text, I got a text yesterday afternoon at 15:44 saying Manchester City was his destination”
I’ve never seen two people so full of their own self importance as these two. Oh for the phantom flan flinger to appear out of nowhere.

Very well sad.
Shining example would be Arsene Wenger. He wasn't a screamer on the sidelines. Arsenal's greatest ever manager. Turned Tony Adams life around, got a few more quality years out of his career. Changed the diets of the footballers, stopped the binge drinking, new training methods. He modernised football.
Figure out how to maximise the squad potential, shouting doesn't always work.

SSD got a reaction from Miggins in Love Island
Love Island could be fun trash TV if they weren't all fake plastic wannabe celebrities. I'd say the last 5-10 years we've tried to promote positive body image and showing girls how a natural look is beautiful. All the women on that show have had at least one surgery. The majority of them have them lip filters. The men have six packs, teeth whitening kits, the same fade haircuts. It's horrible.
Get some realistic down to earth people in there. I dont want to see fame hungry people looking for a boo hoo or jacamo endorsement deal.

What a difference this fella makes to listening on the radio.
Finally, a commentary that provides a decent picture in your mind of where the ball is on the pitch, what the level of threat is at that moment, and doesn't leave you fearing every single moment your team isn't in possession.
Vast improvement on Ed Dawes, imo.

Mel Morris is simply incompetence at running a football club.
He isn’t a charlatan or leacher. He didn’t take over Derby in 2015 and immediately look to asset strip by selling Hughes, Hendrick, Martin, Keogh, Thorne and Russell etc.
On the contrary. He walked in and immediately pumped £25m plus in on transfer fees. Unfortunately, only one player actually improved us and fit the bill then and that was Tom Ince who even still shifted the dynamic somewhat from team-play to relying on individual moments.
Morris thought he was doing what was right. He thought he only needed to invest big (Championship big) and the puzzle would fall into place.
He underestimated the importance of so many other factors such as squad harmony, team spirit and togetherness.

Second jab yesterday. Feel awful, definitely not like the first jab. I'd rather have the jab and feel pants for a few days to be honest. For once the missus can slave for me ?

I never understand the manager isnt shouting so doesn't care or doesn't know what he us doing.
People are mistaking quietness for incompetence & loudness for efficiency.
The quiet manager might be the deep thinker, self-aware & rational decision-makers.
Each coach/ manager is different & should be judged by their impact, not their volume
