Need more lighthearted stuff including the players, that's how we get to know them more, rather than Colin's interviews where he doesn't actually pose a question. The videos last year (not done by RamsTV) with Waghorn, Nugent etc were brilliant and far more insightful into the personality of our squad than most other things we get to see.

I also own a VW up. Brilliant for city driving, can park it in any space. Get it onto the dual carriageway and it's rather steady. Mine doesn't like it when it goes past 40, when you eventually get up to speed it's fine. I live in an area of the city where the streets are really tight, yet people think it's a great idea to have a people carrier or a large SUV. The cars had a couple of injuries no thanks to my neighbours who like to knock my mirrors off because their car is far too big. Cheap to run, insurance is peanuts, happy days :)

I watched the game in Commercial Inn, Inverurie and I bought myself a pint of perroni, sat down next to a bloke with a real parrot on his shoulder!.....I had a look at my pint and it was definitely my first pint of the day......and nobody batted an eyelid to this parrot, big red and green one, looked like he was Man Utd, no blue on him, I think blue is more budgeeregar, anyway there's no joke, no gag coming, this was for real, so I looked up at the big screen and enjoyed the first half, Man Utd leading 1-0.
The bloke and parrot left the pub at half time and the parrot said goodbye on the way out, and the half dozen or so folk sat on the bar stools around the bar turned around on a Sunday afternoon and wished them both a goodbye. I looked at my pint again, did a head shake and carried on as per normal and enjoyed the second half.
Sometimes I wonder why I live in Scotland, I think it's for the entertainment, anyway you couldn't make it up, as for the football, I don't like the Manx, don't like the Spivs, but I'm looking forward to seeing that parrot again!
And if I had one of them modern phones with a camera, I'd have taken a picture, one day I might catch up with the modern world!

I had some idiot scream at me the other day for pulling out on him at a junction. BMW driver was far down the road, I had plenty of time to pull out safely and get up to speed. He decides to then overtake me and pointed to his dashcam. He was hammering the car down the road, you're speeding you a-hole. You know there's plenty of junction on the road, slow down.

I’m finding people with dashcams to be the worst offenders on the road. Followed someone this morning down the A38, dashcam front and rear while they’re holding their phone to the ear.

Receiving passive aggressive emails from people at work, only to find out when calling them back, they change their tone completely. Really annoyed with this culture of folks hiding behind a keyboard rather than having a proper face to face conversation. I can tell you’re annoyed, so why not talk to me about it properly rather than be an ********? It’s so cowardly.

See the Politics Thread is pulled. Bit of an overreaction in my view, if only temporary. Yes a few posters were getting a bit tetchy, but deal with them - ban them from posting in the thread for a week or two. If they don’t comply and breach the terms, ban them full stop.

I'm sure if you live in Derby, the parked cars right of way rules don't apply. 

I don't even do Twitter or Facebook but I can see how they must kick people in the nuts. 
I mean it's a bit like having relationship issues and every song on the radio seems relevant. Your brain seems to pick out things on social media and start reminding you that you don't have this or that. You're not that handsome, thin, tall, pretty. They're a better parent, they earn more money, they have a better career, a nicer car, more friends. 
It's like holding a mirror up to your life when you're not in the right place mentally. Looking how much of a feck up you've made. When you view it then it's a mirror.
Yet when you post on it then suddenly it's a sales pitch. I'm super good looking, drive this car, look at my beautiful kids, look at me in the sun, look at my living room. Obviously not everyone is out there to boast. But we like to present the best "me" to the world. And it gets competitive between a lot of insecure people which leads to more insecure people. 
Facebook isn't really reality. Reality TV isn't reality. But anything that offers security or insecurity sells. A lot of people are looking for comfort or are in competition. 
I think as soon as you accept that your poo stinks and your best is good enough that you can live happily ever after. But even being aware of what social media is like doesn't help. Even not using it at all isn't protection. Our brains are all warped with mental images of the people we should be. Even if it's not jealousy of Dave and his new Range Rover it might be that your brain is showing you a better version of yourself. 
But when you are on your arse and still looking at the perfect world of everyone else... that is a kick in the nuts. If you think it might not be helpful, log out
