Fingers crossed! Next pod is scheduled for after Luton, so hoping for a 'preferred bidder pod' at the very least...

If we're including all wheat beers, then without a doubt, my favourite is Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier.

That's not just different - it's close to being the best non-Belgian wheat/witbier I've ever tasted.

Turn the photo around 90 degrees clockwise... it's a cinder/flint type track(?), looking uphill, with leftover snowdrift on the left.  The track runs bottom to top, so no scrambling needed, but it is very steep for the first 40-50% of the ascent.
To our shame, we didn't quite make it to the top, and we turned back down 5 minutes later!  Probably only about 3/4 of a mile short of the summit!
The point of reaching the top (for us)  is to sit and have a picnic, and post the views on here!  We'd have been too cold just sat having lunch (was ok whilst still on the move).  It was extremely windy (experience suggest 50-55mph gusts), and the views would have reached about 6ft in front of our noses, due to the ever thickening mist!
Views from lower down, earlier in the day, weren't too shabby, though...

Hello all, I used to frequent these hallowed pages until 2017 when I thought I'd have a little break.
I've read the various threads most days, but the longer I went without posting, the more difficult it became to break the ice and make a comeback.
Fast forward to now and I'm in a position where I'm going to have to be off work for the foreseeable future, home alone during the weekdays, in or at hospital on a regular basis so I figured regular interaction with fellow rams may just be the tonic I need.
Feels good to be back, even in such dark times for our beloved club.

We live to fight another day!
Last minute change of plan for our biscuit factory.
Our current owners, Two Sisters Food Group, have sold us to a company named Boparan Private Office. Mr. Boparan is also owner of the aforementioned business.....think Mel Morris.......

We face a major restructure but seem to have secured extra business with various retailers alongside a price increase for our products and a promise of some investment.

Evening chaps and chapettes. Not quite sure where to put this but thought it might be nice for a bit of nostalgia.
Working on a new book (as you do, more to come shortly. This one actually has nice footballing times in it) and met up for a reminisce yesterday with the legendary Graham Richards and Colin Gibson.
Graham is still in fine form and still sounds as iconic as ever. He came down to meet me in a scooter at Stoke Train Station, warned me his memory might not be great and then proceeded to reminisce about games we've probably all forgotten. Colin, well Colin is just fantastic.

On the book, watch this space. I promise this next one will cover more enjoyable times than Pride.

Early Doors is a very underrated comedy. Brilliant, set in a pub in the early 2000’s. Only 2 series made but the characters are great.
On a different scale, The Inbetweeners is class. A modern classic!

I'm not sure if they're sitcoms or rather observational wryly amusing drama but I enjoy stuff penned by Craig cash.
Royle family and early doors both have some cracking moments (as well as moments of pathos)

Three bids on the table despite the position with HMRC. One of the bids involves Gadsby - like him or loathe him won’t let club go to the wall. Yet seen comments that we’re miles away from a takeover and it looks like liquidation. Honestly some people - get a grip! There is nothing in Jim’s post that Indicates they won’t name a preferred bidder next week and if things were so negative then why would they tell the whole squad and staff what’s happening as Rooney confirmed the other day?! Previous comms has just been with Rooney.

Honestly think people just see what they want to see rather than take what is said.

Hi all - our latest podcast is out now:

Two excellent results against the best teams in the Championship give Derby fans a glimmer of hope... before QPR spoil the positivity party with a late winner at Pride Park, as that gap to safety just keeps getting bigger.
Chris, Tom and Anton sigh in disbelief at more points dropped from winning positions and kick themselves for having survival hope in the first place, as we also analyse the wonderful first team emergence of Liam Thompson into the Derby County midfield.
Wayne Rooney has also just marked a year in charge of Derby, so we take 'Your Shouts' on the boss's best and worst moments in his first 12 months in as Rams boss.

stejawh reacted to Steve Bloomer's Washing in NEW PODCAST: 'Curtis Davies: How to defend' (Patreon)
    Hey all

Our latest Patreon podcast is an exclusive in-depth technical chat with Curtis Davies on the art of being a central defender. We spoke at length with Curtis on subjects such as:

    - Playing direct vs playing from the back and why Derby will continue to try to play out
    - On being 'the Bonucci and Chiellini of the Championship' with Phil Jagielka and why the partnership has worked (so far)
    - Switching defensive partners, playing three at the back, and the lines of communication with goalkeepers
    - The 'nightmare' 'unplayable' strikers he's faced in his career... and which striker was best at 'the dark arts'.
    - What's next for him - playing for Derby in League One, signing a new deal, his plans for the future.

As mentioned, this one is a Patreon exclusive, and you can sign up here:
