Never written a line of code in my life so wouldn't know where to start ?

As you say raises questions, questions which for me are worrying.

Cars, undoubtedly the roads will be much safer once the technology gets there, HGV's will naturally follow eventually with no driver at all, no rest stops, 24/7 on the roads.

    Planes, trains, boats....

All sounds great until you think about the job losses.

If we have everything done for us by AI systems, meaning the loss of thousands if not millions of jobs. Where are people going to get the money to buy the services that are being provided by these automated systems?

Will people that are still required to manually carry out certain tasks be paid a fortune? Would these jobs end up being sheared between ten, twenty a hundred people, would all these workers be paid a living wage for a few hours work?

Would we see the introduction of a national wage?

    They never took the Popside.

They're taking my seat in the East Stand. I was hoping with it being on the tv, the bubble blowers wouldn't take their full allocation of tickets.

Looks like I'll end up in the quiet section of the West Upper, similar to when we played Leicester and Man U in the cup.

  3. David if you're going to start a thread that could contain unsavoury images, could you please post a warning notice at the start.

Wasn't expecting to see such shocking images, glad the grandchildren weren't sat with me as I scrolled down.

  4. Re the covid vaccine, Andrew Bridgen and apparently an Israeli doctor call the dispensing of the vaccine, as the worst crime to humanity since the murder of millions during the holocaust. Whatever your view on wether this statement is or isn't antisemitic.

What we should be asking is what verified medical evidence is available for them to make this claim that countries around the world have deliberately murdered their own citizens.

Isn't this another example of a group of people using unfounded evidence to  push their own agenda

  5. If I had any sympathy for any of the privileged tossers, who are embroiled in this whole fiasco. Then it would probably be Harry. Yes he's been a dick with some of what he's said, but I think some of this as come from the same frustration many of us have experienced, when we have been in conflict with a large authoritarian organisation.

Why thank you stive and I do believe your being sincere and yes if had the power I would bloody well change the way this country/ world works , some just can’t get they’re head around the fact I don’t and won’t accept special cases ,, EVERYONE deserves a decent living and respect and unless you start from that point your wasting your time , nothing will change

    Welcome comrade.

Not really sure how you went to me telling you we should be standing on our doorstep clapping for anyone , please explain and while your at it explain what’s wrong with thinking this current garbage about nurses being on the breadline , surviving on food banks and demanding 19% pay rise when they are on well above average salaries, conditions, perks , pensions and job security than most ( even a large number of nurses don’t agree with this strike)

or are you yet another that just comes on and throws out glib throw away comments of the kind we have seen for the last three years and shows no sign of stopping

how about you show us a proper comparison between a nurse and say a care home worker caring for the sick elderly

You glibly stated that there are more deserving causes than nurses. I was just enquiring who these deserving causes are.

Follow the thread at least ,,, ??‍♂️ the sarky flippancy was started by the other poster to which I responded in equal measure , still stick to a side and ignore / delete as fits , bravo

As stated The nurses are on way above national average salary with paid sick leave , paid holidays , pension scheme , on strike for 19% pay rise , you will have to excuse me ( or not , don’t give a duck) for not exactly being impressed , there’s far far far more in greater need than the nurses and my sympathies will be there

So who should we be stood on our doorstep clapping for? Whoops, meant campaigning for them to get a pay rise.

  9. China giving up on their struggle to control covid cases and will fully reopen their borders to visiters

Is there a possibility for a new strain of the virus to spread around the world.

Some countries already announcing restrictions on people arriving from China.

UK officials state there are no plans to check people arriving from China.

Good to see the government are keeping a tight control of our borders

  10.    You can get a good team from that list.

                                  Boulton

    Webster     McFarland      Todd     Forsyth C

                                     Williams

                      Durban                  Gemmill

                Sturridge        Hector           Hinton

I agree with this. So when Mr Lynch claims to be fighting for working class or the working man as you call it, I shall say working person inclusive and all that. Is lynch fighting for me? And for the 30 million other employed people?

    Yes.

  12. Bird would be able to get forward more often and influence the flow of the game. If he had a central midfield partner working along side him, who doesn't keep drifting off towards the left-hand of of the pitch. Which for all his skills Hourihane as an unfortunate tendency of doing.

  13. At this time of year it as to be a good mulled wine and a mince pie.

For the rest of the year, a selection of cheese and a bottle of Auchentoshan malt whisky.

That's until the bottle is empty and the choice of whisky will alter. Working my through as many different single malts as I can

Well I needed to find a hobby when I retired.

I think Sibley is better at taking corners.

Conor needs to start working some magic.

He needs to do more work where it matters in the middle of the pitch. Stop drifting to the left touchline and getting in the way of our left back and wide midfielder.

  15. So Southgate says he is pondering his future as England's manager.

If he goes, who replaces him?

If he remains as manager, what will he do?

Should he stick with the current group of players?

Immediately replace the older players that won't be about come the next tournament?
