Incidentally, when did her majesty start writing meme captions describing what was going on?

Indeed. Hence my post... for anyone who hadn't looked at the numbers. ?
... and as for that last sentence, I'd agree. They'd be utterly embarrassed if that was all they took! ?

That makes a lot more sense. I guess it is skewed towards the bigger grounds that can provide a larger away capacity and locations easier to reach i.e. central England, but it does explain why Reading and Blackburn are so low down!

If you do the maths you’ll see the figures do represent the total attendance for our away games not just the number of away supporters. Not even the dirties take 18,000 to away games. ?

Mucker1884 reacted to Anag Ram in Matchday Thread v Cardiff (Home) Sat 7th May 12:30...
I was chatting to two young Cardiff fans on the train who said they’d had a ‘fantastic day’
They both missed the goal. One was being sick and the other was asleep!

I'm of the understanding that they are the other clubs matchday attendance for their match against us, not specifically our own away following for each match.
I'd imagine most fans would be more eager to go to watch their team play against Wayne Rooney's Derby County than Curly Sue's Boro, for example.
It wouldn't surprise me if Fo*est, for example, have had a bigger away following than us, but then the oppo fans (in the home stands) would be less keen to be in close proximity to our 6 fingered friends, thus saving their ticket money for another day.

Saw one bloke in one in the west stand , he had that look of someone who’s been conned into turning up in fancy dress to an ordinary party ,

Haha - that was me. Loved the idea of wearing sombreros and was expecting everyone to have one! Glad I did - it’s now my favourite Rams hat, replacing the Davey Crockett beauty of the Eighties. ?

Am I right in thinking this didn't go viral then? ?
Saw a good dozen or so... maybe 20 at most... being worn outside the club shop area pre match.
Gave my two spares to two young lads sat eating do-nuts in the sun. One buried the younger lad, so dad took charge of that one.
From my seat, I think I could only see maybe 6 during the game. ?
Disappointed that not one of the '72 legends took the ideal opportunity to relive their celebrations by donning one. ?
Kept mine on throughout (with the kind acceptance of the chap behind).
I suspect wearing mine led to all-too-brief intro and hand-shake with the inquisitive @Inverurie Ram, who guessed my identity, and came over to introduce himself. No time for a chat sadly, as the players were just coming out for the second half.
Still good to put a face, and a handshake, to a username though, despite his own headgear being more from the North of The Americas! ?
#Viral schmiral! ?
