A long ball game at Derby would be suicidal given our total lack of aerial ability.
I suspect Warne is a better coach than that but I’m still disappointed LR hasn’t been given the long term opportunity to prove himself (unless of course he’s jumped).

For those who believe it costs the country money, what would happen to the ‘savings’?
These past years have shown that money is available when a real emergency comes about, and we waste billions on things which produce no income at all.
Tourism is a massive part of our economy. We have something which in commercial terms alone, is the envy of others. The USA for example has to lure people with Disney because they don’t have the history or the pageantry.
Charles, Anne, Edward, William and, until recently, Harry have all done magnificent work as patrons and supporters of those in need.
Without them, we just have Boris, Liz, Keir and Co to look up to. 
 

I just think we are so lucky to have been born in the era she presided over. She has been a calming influence in an uncertain world.
And on top of that she always seemed like a lovely lady.
Finally, I think we should respect the fact that there’s a grieving family at Balmoral, just like all those who are grieving for lost one’s right now.
I never met her, or even saw her in public, but I was always glad she was there.

It’s a rollercoaster!
Defence leaves space behind, you cringe, your hands go over your eyes then suddenly Cashin stretches a boot  and all is well.
On the attack we string together three Premier League class passes; our winger streaks down the wing, you check who’s in the box, the ball sails over….. everybody.
Just as you finish slagging off this week’s scapegoat, he does something heroic and you tell your friends you knew that was going to happen.
It’s good to be back.

Well done to everyone involved for the send off. The removal of the sceptre, orb and crown had so much finality about it. It brings home the continuity of this all, as the artefacts of royalty are passed on.
And very pleased they changed the route out to Windsor, not going by motorway so those who wanted to could line the route.

Having once been given the responsibility of carrying a coffin I know how nerve racking it is, cannot imagine how it felt to have the added pressure of it being the queen with hundreds of millions of people watching!
