I wonder what Curtis D is thinking about all this?
Under Rooney and Rosenior he was a colossus, leading from the front and being the rallying spokesperson for the team. 
Rooney left and CD confirmed in interviews that LR had done most of the coaching so had his support.
During his injury though he was strangely silent and now LR is being replaced.
His performances in the past two games have been perhaps not surprisingly, shaky.
Will we see the old defiant character back under a new manager?
Can Warne instil a more ruthless approach?

Expect Warne’s first teamtalk will be something like this :
“You lot that were here may have survived on the last day of the season under Rooney, But as far as I’m concerned, the first thing you can do for me is chuck all your staying up medals and and all your pots and all your pans into the biggest f****** dustbin you can find. Because you’ve never won any of them fairly. You’ve done it all by cheating.”

I’m more of a Mavis on this one as I dooon’t really know

Heartfelt thank you to you Liam. The way you helped bring the club together and your work bringing in so many quality players in a short space of time will not go forgotten. Disappointing and sudden end but you'll always be welcome back at Derby.

A long ball game at Derby would be suicidal given our total lack of aerial ability.
I suspect Warne is a better coach than that but I’m still disappointed LR hasn’t been given the long term opportunity to prove himself (unless of course he’s jumped).

I just hope the players react positively.
Not sure they have developed the kind of team spirit we saw last season and now an unsettling change.
Any new manager will have a difficult first few weeks convincing the squad his way is the right way.

Here we feckin go again.
Just as we needed a bit of stability, just as the players are beginning to get to know each other.......that feckin curse never did go away did it? Somehow it beamed its miserable way over to Pride Park from the Baseball Ground.

For those who believe it costs the country money, what would happen to the ‘savings’?
These past years have shown that money is available when a real emergency comes about, and we waste billions on things which produce no income at all.
Tourism is a massive part of our economy. We have something which in commercial terms alone, is the envy of others. The USA for example has to lure people with Disney because they don’t have the history or the pageantry.
Charles, Anne, Edward, William and, until recently, Harry have all done magnificent work as patrons and supporters of those in need.
Without them, we just have Boris, Liz, Keir and Co to look up to. 
 

I just think we are so lucky to have been born in the era she presided over. She has been a calming influence in an uncertain world.
And on top of that she always seemed like a lovely lady.
Finally, I think we should respect the fact that there’s a grieving family at Balmoral, just like all those who are grieving for lost one’s right now.
I never met her, or even saw her in public, but I was always glad she was there.
