I think anyone who’s seen Derby play live this season will know that Hourihane gets bypassed in midfield. He is capable of producing special moments but in my book that makes him an ideal sub.
I’m still not convinced the three that played together yesterday is the right combination for every game (Accrington are not the strongest team we’ll face) but it’s certainly one which will play good football.
I think Wayne still has a number of issues to resolve.
Chester, Davies and Cashin as a three leaves us exposed and we didn’t concede yesterday only because of one man’s nightmare performance.
This is why I’m realistic in my expectations for us prior to Christmas. We will be found out in some games as we try different combinations, especially trying to play cup matches in between.
We have most of the pieces. Slotting them into place might take a bit longer.

I do apologise. My phone obviously has a secret agenda.
Who knows, if Boris can be mentioned in terms of coming back….

Not sure if you are familiar with Setlist Kinder? I use it a lot. 1, 6 and 16 are new songs - 6 in particular being quite brilliant imho. The tracks have a Disentegration vibe. You can click on the links to see the songs live. I am going in December too, albeit to the old Wembley arena venue. I suspect they might have one tour left in them, but to be fair Robert Smith seemed very happy and energised on stage. 9 out of 10 from me, but I think the setlists to date have catered a little for their Scandinavian fans. Hopefully in London we will see a bit more from Wish, Kiss Me, Disintegration period. That said they have so many great songs, and tunes, the chances of me getting my perfect Setlist are very remote.

Just had a couple of lovely days in Copenhagen. What a nice friendly city. Well worth a visit. Topped with seeing The Cure at the Arena, which is a great music venue given its size.

It would be easy (but hear me out!) for some fans to just dismiss Accrington Stanley FC as a small time/tinpot club!
What with the timeless Milk Ad jokes, the tiny ground, uncovered terrace, away fans taking up more than half of the attendance, the apparent lack of programme outlets, what appears to be a sore-loser of a manager... and even free matchday parking on the doorstep!
But I get the impression... sadly and shamefully having never had the pleasure to attend a match there, to witness it for myself... that they are right up there with the classiest of clubs!
The warm welcome by their fans... and stewards... at and around the ground appears to be an every (match)day experience, and not just for show for a big game (ie, An FA Cup game against a former big club who used to be famous!)
What appears to be an ongoing habit of their SLO going on oppo forums with very useful and welcome advice/info in the week running up to matchday.
Decent Ale and award winning pies.
A weedy-looking man, ambassadorial by demeanour, albeit c. 5'2" in height, wearing "Double Denim" waistcoat adorned with each and every ASFC lapel badge ever produced, pointing and shouting "seats to the right, standing to the left" as you enter the ground.  (Sorry, but until I am fortunate enough to witness the facts in person, this image remains!)
Gotta say... not for the first time... I am left with the overwhelming impression that ASFC ooze class throughout, and if I was in anyway associated with them (Which I most definitely am not, I hasten to say!), I would be very proud of that association, and very proud of my club.
There is more than one definition of the word "Massive".  One of which includes the reference to ASFC as an example!  Well done to you all, and a big thumbs up to Mr Stanley himself, who should be immensely proud of himself, his approach to his job, and his club as a whole.

    Bravo, ASFC!

I've been able to watch every league game since RamsTV started streaming them. There hasn't been a single occasion when I felt "meh, can't be bothered going to the game, I'll just watch it on TV instead."
Need to attract fans? I'd imagine being able to see a team on TV may tempt more casuals to gain an interest in a specific team than if they have to spend £50 to watch live.
