I think there’s always a danger of associating one good performance with a potential transfer to Derby County.

We’ve all seen players who have caught the eye over the years but consistency is key. Jack Marriott was hot property for a couple of months but no one wants him now. Cole Stockton was on everyone’s wish list last year but hasn’t set the world alight.
That’s why scouts watch multiple games.
Sometimes buying no one can be the best decision of all. Consistency in team selection and good morale go a long way.

Great shout. Insomnia back with a vengeance, so spent the last 5 hours bingeing my way through this series. It's an absolute belter. Oddly, Oldman's performance has only earned him two best actor nominations thus far and both from American bodies. High praise nonetheless,  I suppose, given the particularly British nature of it all, but entirely merited all he same. Oldman has brought life to some wonderful characters over the years, but in Jackson Lamb, he's created probably the most memorable of the lot. Happily, Apple have renewed for 2 further series with S03 due out autumn this year. Can't wait to see where they take us next. Makes me glad I've not read the books.

Having watched and loved the Detectorists Christmas Special, I binge watched the first series yesterday.
    Lovely, whimsical British comedy.

Argh, that's grim mate. Try the stretching exercises - get your partner to help very gently if you're struggling. The quickest and most consistent pain relief is via that route based on my experience. Naproxen will put a dent in it though it makes me hurl too, so you may need anti-emitics just to keep it down as it's a common side effect. Nothing else worked for me.
For the little it's worth right now, I suspect, it is treatable and quite easily so. Silver linings etc.
Hope you feel better soon mate.

Happened to me on a Saturday night.
Went to emergency GP Sunday morning and he started writing a prescription for painkillers before even looking up. I asked if he was going to examine me and he said what do you expect on a Sunday morning? We exchanged pleasantries and he realised I was serious. I rarely lose my temper but I was in a lot of pain.
When he did the knee reflex test my leg didn’t move. He realised then I was being honest.
I still have little sensation in my lower calf area.

Had it so bad around 10 years back it was taking me 10 mins to crawl to the loo and I'd almost be crying with the pain. Doc gave me some exercises to do and I've never had it since, touch wood. Pilates would be my recommendation, though yoga is gentler depending on your time of life. There also exercises you can do to ease the pain and they do work, though stop immediately if they are hurting you! I've chucked a link in below.
Feel better soon in any case!

Saw The Cure last night. Was front row but bladder couldn’t sustain 3 hours ?
They were great but it’s a show for diehard Cure fans. Lots of brilliant music but with the majority of the faves at the end.
Robert’s voice had recovered to his great relief.
Thought The Twilight Sad were a great support band.

With an eye on next season I’d definitely sign a CB.  Forsyth, Davies, Chester and Stearman are all 33+ and out of contract in the summer.  Based on the first half of the season only Forsyth is worth a new deal so if we can get one in now it would be worth doing.  I also think Warne will want to go back to 3-5-2 at some point and feels that the other 4 lack the mobility to play in a back 3.

Davies is shot. He suddenly looks like a forty year old. Stearman barely gets in the squad. Chester is crocked and Roberts won’t hang around unless he’s playing.
If we lost Forsyth or Cashin I’d be worried.

Sibley what a difference a few weeks make! he was only recieving 3, 4 and 5 with his bit part cameo role, now he is playing regular and his confidence is back he recieves mostly marks of 7 and he his playing out of position, delighted for the lad.
