It’s not strange, it’s just further proof that the EFL wanted to make an example of us.

It all seems a bit strange. I can see that putting us into administration triggers an automatic 12 points, but our accounting methodology went to an IDC and they recommended a 100k fine. The EFL didn’t accept their ruling.

It's been a couple of years since I took a flight but I'm pretty sure (from my fading memory) that boarding passes are checked at least twice: - once at the departure lounge when your section of the aircraft is called forward to board and then again at the actual entrance to the aircraft. If there was a risk/history of flyers just choosing to sit wherever they liked rather than carefully seeking out their correct seat then perhaps there would be another level of checks implemented on aircrafts. But, there isn't so I don't think you can compare the two experiences.
In any event, although I wasn't at the game on Saturday, I can't help but feel this was more of "getting use to the new procedure minor irritation" rather than anything really worth getting worked up and complaining about.

There were two videos produced and at least two separate website articles, with the information also included in the match day preview on the website.
It was also featured prominently on BBC Radio Derby & on DerbyshireLive, I believe.
What more do you want the club to do?
The checks are part of parcel of the terms of the safety certificate. Without those you don’t have safe standing, which supporters have been campaigning for for 10+ years.

It had nothing to do with football, The conversation was about whether the Office of Budget Responsibility were right to criticize Liz Trusses economic policy, As he overheard 2 DCFC supporters behind him in the dug out saying they were wrong

Agree. Probably the stupidest rule they have ever come up with.  Love to know what difference a booking makes; yes, I guess more likely to be truly hurt perhaps with a foul that brings a booking, but that suggests that you can’t be truly hurt from something innocuous.   Also, what about something like an accidental ‘clash of heads’ or some such.  Complete accident, not your fault, but off you go, making your team weaker through no fault of your own.  It is madness.

She might have been right but it’s still daft that a caution has to be issued to avoid having to go off. The principle should be that the innocent team and player shouldn’t be disadvantaged especially now they have to wait an extra 30 seconds - if you get injured by a foul against you then you shouldn’t have to go off at all after treatment, caution or not.

Agreed, like any ref she may have made a couple of contentious calls but mostly she suffered from a home crowd unhappy that she rightly booked a number of Derby players early doors. So many supporters don’t know the rules re making an injured player leave the field…if they are injured because of a tackle that warrants a caution then they do not have to go off! She was getting loads of criticism for this when she was right!

They are mic'd up. They don't wave flags. They aren't on on an aircraft carrier.
I would imagine the NML one wasn't given because the defender kicked the ball about 20 yards.
Warne and Barkhuizen have both said it was a penalty.

I don’t understand why fans get hysterical over the opposition wasting a bit of time . It all gets added on at the end , that’s why we are having 100 minute games . What is annoying is pro players hoofing crosses into the crowd when you just have to keep the ball for a few more minutes.

She got the vast majority right. Far more than the crowd thought both at the time and on here. No glaring errors.
She could have maybe booked one of theirs when she played advantage, but it wasn't stonewall. The problem was yesterday that the crowd were in mass hysteria and howled about every decision with a pack mentality.
Not aimed at you, but being female and giving decisions against Derby outraged many with some awful comments at the game and on here.
She could have dealt with their shithousing better. Hurried them along and spoken to them about the playacting. However the outrage is laughable.

Got literally nothing to do with her being a female. She had refereed us before today and was one of the best we’ve had. No excuse for her poor display today, there’s no sugar coating that, but her gender is irrelevant.

My take on the Bradley sub...
Just prior to it, we'd switched to 3 at the back, with (L-R) Forsyth, Nelson and Cashin. That put Cashin on the wrong side, and I'm not sure Nelson is comfortable in the middle of the three. In order to get round pegs/round holes in the defence, he swaps Forsyth for Bradley (who is more happy in the middle of a 3), which also allowed Cashin and Nelson to swap to their preferred sides.
It struck me as a defensive tidy up after a formation change.

Very poor all round. Poor game- didn’t deserve to win, but at least see the game out when you get the chance to - why the flip did we just decide to sit back and invite pressure. Poor post match crowd and traffic control (as per - it is time some changes were made, there is a lot of unnecessary nonsense - even the top steward I politely complained to said he thought what they do with that stupid fence thing outside the East Stand is daft - certainly today with about 5 Wycombe fans), very long journey home - unusually busy and/or traffic issues causing delays down, nothing on tele tonight… just a very crappy and frustrating afternoon leading to a no doubt grumpy evening.
However, I wouldn’t blame the ref. I would say all of our bookings were at least arguable and certainly not ‘clear and obvious’ errors. Not seen the penalty again but from afar could see how it could be given.  Very silly to give her the opportunity to make these decisions. If you don’t kick the ball away, keep control, don’t lose your temper and make sure you don’t even breath on their player in the box, you don’t give her the opportunity to make even debatable decisions.  All mostly avoidable.
She got a couple of things wrong; one of theirs kicked a ball away and no booking (though she did book someone for this later), there was a foul on Collins where she played advantage - doing that debatable too, but she should have gone back and booked the player who did the foul, the whole Taylor nonsense where she told him to go off at the nearest point - correctly- but then she let him ignore her and she jogged after him while he did the slow walk-jog they all do to waste time.  So he ignored a direct order from the ref and she didn’t book him - which to me made it look like she didn’t have any authority or, at least, she had lost authority.
Nevertheless, we didn’t deserve any more than a point. I’m ambivalent about Warne but that ain’t going to cut the mustard. Might be picking up points but uninspiring stuff.

The Sibley one was ridiculous...of him. The whistle had gone seconds earlier.
The one she played advantage for was nothing like Birds. That was 2 tugs on a player running clear.
The penalty is obvious. Barkhuizen and Warne said afterwards.

    I found that very frustrating.
Trying to get players sent off by feigning injury is pathetic in my opinion. It’s a shame Collins didn’t just go over to him and do him over and actually give him a reason to writhe about on the floor. in my opinion the referee was all about proving to the premier league that she won’t be swayed by the home crowd and as a consequence gave us nothing. The way Taylor completely ignored her and brushed her aside when told to go off towards the East Stand shows that she didn’t have control.
That being said we ultimately didn’t win against a really poor team because we were crap, ponderous in possession and lacked any sort of plan. Too many didn’t turn up. Too many showed why they play in the 3rd division. A very disappointing and frustrating afternoon.

Im not having a pop or looking for an argument .. cos have had enough of that for one night
but just asking u genuinely, u say she was poor
but the nml one was as sure as day yellow, the CH one was also the same .. aka overran it and launched recklessly into the challenge and the sibley one was sibley being his usual reckless self.. so no complaints on her there.
    birds obviously was too
the collins / their fella one probably could have avoided yellows but lets be honest anytime players do that at any level its always “here a yellow each, now feck off”
so its the pen, which tom barks has already said in interview “wardy got caught the wrong side and clipped him” and the nml where the defender played the ball and caught him on the follow through which shaun barker and rams tv didnt think it was either
i dont think she did a lot wrong tbh,  our players though … good grief
I didnt think we warranted more than a point but goes without saying gutted to not have walked away with more
    But onwards and upwards
