He's here more than at home.
I think with everything that's riding on this it's not great that he's out in town the night before such crucial talks .  I think it reflects poorly on his seriousness regarding this for anyone else at that meeting as well.  Out in town getting some back slaps and thanks for finalising nothing as it stands.  Too much showman and not enough substance. Finish the job then go on a 5 day bender if he likes.

How are people still being picky over who buys us?
Could not care less at this point, if not someone soon we won’t even have a team to support!
you’d think Mike Ashley was a nazi the way people go on!
would love it to be kirchner tonight, but really will take anyone at this point! I don’t want to go to stoke or Leicester either, but i will if that’s all that we have.

Terrible journalism. In fact it's an insult to proper journo's to call that journalism. If he used the phrase "second-tier side" one more time, I swear....

So for the past few days the owner-elect, CK, has been sounding increasingly confident that "the deal is nearly done".
He was coming over for the EFL rubber stamping but then said he was apparently not needed at a "behind closed doors meeting".
Next we hear from Percy that the EFL still have concerns that need to be addressed.
We have suspected for a while that Percy is being leaked information from the EFL but it now appears, given CK's earlier confidence, that Percy is getting the information even before CK hears it. If that really is the case, then it is beyond appalling.
And, if they need things to be addressed, why not invite him to their goddam meeting??  ?
Sheesh. If the EFL scupper this deal, I really hope CK blows the lid of that corrupt, incompetent organization.
    Not fit for purpose.

There would need to be an emergency source of funding and quick.
Given our level of debt and the fact we have borrowed lots more during this administration process I would imagine this really is last chance saloon.
The fact that John Percy is reporting things that have clearly been leaked to him by people in the know suggests all is far from being well.
The concern throughout all of this for me is sheer incompetence of the administrators. The whole future of the club surviving rests on them having done their jobs properly.

Nice little story about Chris Martin from yesterday.
He had promised one of our really regular fans a signed shirt just before lockdown. Life took over and he was subsequently transferred out without seeing her again.
She stopped behind to see him earlier in the season away at Bristol City away and mid conversation he recalled about the shirt.
Knowing he would probably see her again yesterday, he brought the signed Derby shirt, which he'd obviously saved, with him to give to her. Genuinely nice bloke.

He will not go to Burnley.
Only risk of him going is Everton being relegated and going there and even then I’m not sure he would.
This is assuming the takeover goes through if it doesn’t then of course, but we’d have bigger concerns, and anyway the takeover is still looking promising.

Yeah and his high salary stays the same for both.
We’re better off planning for the future. We need to be looking at young non-league strikers who have been scoring against thuggish defenders as that’s going to be the secret to success next season.
Martin was great for us but we need to move on.

A lot of people including me would love the opportunity to buy our season tickets now to show support and solidarity with Wayne and Chris. We can’t do this sadly. But we could make our last two home games something to really catch the medias attention. Highest gates in the Championship. I would love this to happen as a thank you to all involved at the Club. Can we do it?

Hasn’t the point always been that this isn’t a straightforward, linear process? I always thought it was dependent on appointing a preferred bidder, them agreeing whether they would pay the debts up front or over time (the whole 35p vs 25p in the £ thing), which league we were going to be in may have been a factor also, plus the stadium. I remember reading HMRC wouldn’t discuss a final plan until a PB was appointed or something along those lines. Lots of moving parts.
I’m not necessarily defending Quantuma, as they’ve presumably mishandled elements of this, nor am I willing to condemn them completely as MM clearly left the club in a complete state, which is one of the only definite facts available to us fans.
Without all the other facts available to me about what has gone on behind the scenes I’d rather focus on the potential positives of a solution to this whole mess being apparently close and the club finally being able to move on from admin and the whole MM era.

I’m actually looking forward to something different next season. We might actually have a chance of winning something and let’s face it, that’s why we watch football.

I just hope that the majority of Derby fans stick with the team and support like we have this season. We have a great chance of now resurrecting Derby County but it’s a team effort - let’s not forget that.

I’ve seen a few people say they can’t be arsed tonight, WTF - this group of players deserve backing right to the hilt and beyond.

Come on Derby fans, we do make a difference and that’s why Rooney and Co have fell in love with us.

Agree, i have 3 adult children who im sure said and did things they regretted when young, buts thats how you learn through your mistakes. I am immensely proud of how they have grown up. You cant hold things against what was said when young, its now that counts plus what about some of the disgusting songs that some fans sing at matches, no difference to me.
