Have we signed wisdom yet or do we have no intention on signing him back on ?

    That is a good question

I think we need someone like him covering CD and RB and on form probably starting CD for me

Byre? No way. Our best player.

you posted this after Saturday - fair play

The second goal just proved if he had have been positioned correctly for the first he could still have totally fluffed it.

Not a great ten minutes for Nathan.

Do not get me wrong I think he is OK; but best player ?    After that I genuinely admire your loyalty

  3. Cannot help feeling there is something more to the Sibley story - I know he can be a bit hotheaded and gets booked, but he does have that bit of a spark about him.

Bird looked great alongside Rooney, but a bit Flat since - and I so want him to do well.

Knight has surprised me in a good way - but I get the feeling he could surprise me in the prem too - very much a workhorse (Emlyn Hughes anyone?)

Festy like you say promising but I am most excited now about Watson - looked the canines nads to me the other night

  4. The first pic is a sad one - Archie (Border Terrier) last day - passed away from Kidney Failure in April

Hector (Border Collie x Bernese Mountain Dog ) looking confused

pic 2 - Happier Lazier Days - Hector (18 months) learning from Archie (14 Years)

pic 3 - There is only one dog in this house now - I might only be 2 but I am in charge!!

I’m amazed that even folk care less and have no interest in going to games (unless it’s travel, cost or safety) then why are you still on this forum and posting on this thread?

Not sure that is aimed at me but if it is ....

I do care - that is part of the problem.

I have supported Derby since 1972

    I cannot give it up

I have almost given Football up

But I still care about Derby

    It is like an addiction

As someone else alluded to - Derby county is a constant in my life - perhaps the only one

I will not ever give it up completely - I do not want to

Travel and Time are the reason I do not attend many games

I think that makes me a valid forum user ?

If you watched from various angles it looks like the guy clipped him or got his foot under Festy's and at the pace he runs at, well not surprising he goes down!

Oh sorry do not get me wrong - it is the definition of a modern day penalty

But if his baby was inside that six yard box that was on fire he would definitely not even notice that.

I think I might have wandered off

Not a big loss though - like you a fair way travel to a home game - I try to make one a season and Bristol City away.

It is not just covid and lock-down though - it is all the other stuff too - probably starting with the Lawrence, Bennett and Keogh incident.

I also feel I got on the Lampard bubble which made the fall even harder.

We will see - I am aware of 4 live TV games by 10/09/21 - I have made a mental note to self to try not to watch 2 of them cos it usually hurts too much - but I think I will inevitably fail.

I guess it is a similar thing to cold turkey though

Managed to sort of not watch last nights game - recorded it with 25 minutes left and watched it after wifey had gone to bed.

Still annoyed with Football - Festy dived, their guy dived from 14 yards outside the box, two wrongs make a wronger in my opinion, oh and booking Joz for someone headbutting his foot !!!

Biggest highlight in that 25 mins was Watson - could be some player there

I’m sorry to say but I think his performance yesterday signifies that he is not needed in this team. Lack of effort or quality and I think he looks disinterested and disengaged. I think he’d be better off being loaned out or sold. That way we might be able to sign a player or loan a winger who could cut it in this league.

    what are your thoughts?

You make one very valid point

He might be better off being loaned out or sold

    We wouldn't

If you could roll him and Lawrence into one player you’d have a world beater.

What really really really good where it doesn't matter and really really really bad where it does ??

Does that make a world beater ??  Ha Ha

  10. Born in Gloucestershire in 1970

Cannot remember choosing to support Derby but my parents tell me I was awestruck by Brian Clough's appearances on Midlands TV

Dad is a Liverpool fan and Brother is a long time Man City fan

First game was Cov away - lost 3-1 Nish put us one up I think in August 78

Did not see any through my late teens and most of my 20's due to playing a bit myself

Next game was when I could drive and we were in the last season in the baseball ground v Swindon - I think we won - I spoke to some Rams fans who showed me the way to bbg and then said away fans are round there because of my accent, which was great because we ahd had a lovely chat without me even realising they thought I was an away fan

Since then got to Pride park and Ashton gate most years

But honestly I really really want to give up - more about football in general than Derby to be honest - but they aren't helping ?

I did think that some fans will have 'wandered off' or thought of other things to do. I don't think it would have been quite as bearable for me being locked down without Derby to watch on RamsTV. #COYR

Very jealous of all you Rams able to attend the matches. Might have to see if I can get away tickets for some southern games now we can afford to go. #TheMightyRams

Firstly, one thing we don't know is how Lawrence behaves in and around the squad off the pitch, so we don't really know what those kind of inter-squad interactions are like.

I imagine he buys his round !!
