We could provide free food for him and a nice welcome.

To be honest if Wigan gave him a rough time then Derby fans have much bigger cause to be very angry with Parry and his vendetta against this club. He must be long overdue for a dishonourable retirement .

If that's us next season do you think Parry would have the brass neck to turn up... it would be good to give him a special DCFC thank you

I missed this from Wigan's fans at their trophy presentation the other day
Unsurprisingly has some NSFW language

There are many things you can rightly blame the EFL for but passing Mel in 2015 or whenever it was done, is not one of them.
A multi millionaire businessman, with a long history of supporting his local club, zero criminal record, takes a substantial financial interest in the club in 2014 and a year later buys the remaining shares, and you want the EFL to stop him from doing so? Imagine the outcry. If that was the bar there'd be no owners of any club.
Talk about hindsight

Time to change the lyrics, and make it more topical and relevant to our situation.
I won't try and circumvent the swear filter, but I'm sure you'll get the drift if you see this topic before it disappears!
Mel Morris is a banker,
He wears a bankers hat,
He said he loved our Derby,
But he's a ducking twit.
He said that he would sell us,
And wanted just a pound,
But he's a lying bar steward,
And took away our ground.

The empty vessels were always going to store it all up for the day we went down - best avoid 'social' media for the next couple of days while they wear their brain cell out typing tripe

Derby fans taking delight in Birmingham's plight should be ashamed. Yes, I'm well aware of the 'party' chant, but confident that's the empty vessels speaking the loudest.
Don't stoop to their level. No football fan deserves what we are going/have gone through.
Not even Millwall.

If it's Mel Morris then I'm sorry but that is the absolute final straw for me.
That man took over a club in the play off final on the brink of the premier League and had left us with no assets, no young players and on the brink of league one with a very probable 15 point deduction as well as currently having 5 players contracted to us next season.
This is a man that wouldn't answer the phone to Rooney to such an extent that Rooney had to call from the club doctor's phone and then Mel answered straight away.
This club has been rotten to the core since this man took over and the only good thing to come out of this absolute horror show is that he will no longer be anywhere near this football club.
Rooney doesn't like him and clearly has no time for him. The amount of effort, heart, passion, desire that these players, Rooney and the coaching staff have put in this season despite all the circumstances, all the issues. These have all been caused by one man.
If he was to takeover or be part of any consortium taking over that would be a smack in the face to all that these players have done. When he's put us in this position solely to reduce the debt he's caused.
The man is a spineless, gutless piece of work and I want him nowhere near this football club ever again.

The fact it says select and not announce says it all

My reply.
I understand I'm pissing in the wind with this, just want us to be treated fairly which I feel we are not.
With regards to the review of our points deduction, I looked at the judgment and it was a loss of £1.96m above the upper threshold for 20/21 where a £5m covid exemption was allowed. Last nights statement was £2.5m with immediate effect to the 21/22 season.
Wouldn't change the deduction at all would it @Ghost of Clough?

Well me neither. I don't have an ignore list of 770 pages either. Working on it though.

I agree - I wonder if a compromise might be arbitration if the three QC panel is made up of a DCFC/MM QC, a Boro/Wycombe QC and the Sports Minister appoints a QC instead of the EFL. That would also send a clear message of a move toward independent regulation.

He's a sports writer for AP News - AP are usually fairly reputable/reliable but on a day of rubbish news I'll wait for other confirmation before getting excited

I just felt I needed to say I hope everyone is doing OK through all this. It is perfectly normal to feel stress, anger and anxiety in these circumstances especially when we feel powerless to save our club.
As Derby fans, we are one community and we're all in this together. Stay strong folks, chin up old bean.

I do think that the EFL want (need?) these claims to go away as much as we do.
But they have taken legal advice which probably tells them it is outside their remit to make that call so they have been pushing us to go to arbitration. We appear to have somewhat reluctantly agreed to this at last.
I now hope that right-minded independent legal experts will agree with us and the growing media calls for common sense to prevail.
Although I am anxious about it, I do think it's the only way we will move on from the current situation.

Dai Capp reacted to Richard Dastard Lee in The Administration Thread
I don't know if it's because I was younger 1984 when Stuart Webb managed to save the club at the very last minute at the High Court or, perhaps because there was no social media and just Radio Derby, but it never entered my mind then that we could go out of business.
This time however it seems to be more worrying.
No set of fans should go through this twice in a lifetime.

I notice that one of the fans groups have made banners criticising Quantuma for tomorrow. Disappointing.
My main beef with Quantuma has been their lack of communication. I think these minutes summarise what that has been so difficult for them.

Is that really the statement - that's pretty poor. A postponed MPs meeting, a missed announcement deadline and all they come out with is a confirmation of something Nixon tweeted about on Tuesday. Underwhelmed.
