Curtains reacted to Ambitious in Charlton at home in doubt on October 14th
I think given we had six on international duty last time and added another international that we will be skipping all international weekends this season.

Well you didn’t say that but I’ll address it .
NML was playing really well and as I’ve said you can only play 11 from the off and then utilize the bench .
Barks wasn’t always brilliant last season and fans groaned at PP when he messed up .
Warne got it wrong he admits towards the end of last season but I don’t necessarily blame him as we had fatigue issues and I know you will say it’s because he wants high press football and is demanding etc etc .
I think a review is fair at the end of the season but until than I’m fully behind Warne the coaches and the team are you !

Curtains got a reaction from Archied in Don’t be too dismayed Rosenier ball is still painful
You are joking
Paul Warne would feel like a leper if he read this as would his supporters
He’s only human as we all are .
The criticism of him is off the scale IMO

Advised . I think that’s a cop out to be honest. I listened to him say Paul Warne was a no brainer for him
I think a vote of confidence in Warne is needed by Clowes. How could it make things any worse than they are !
PS Not once has Warne criticised Rosenior or his acquisitions in fact he praised him and spoke to him on phone prior to taking job

I remembered being frustrated at Lincoln away yes but wanting him sacked was a different matter.
I remember fans wanting Rowett gone and Cocu and NC and Clemence and even McClaren .
Whatever those merits I don’t believe we can go that way yet with Warne.

Clowes did exactly that a year ago. Instead of giving Rosenior time with the squad he had assembled since the middle of July, he brought in the footballing equivalent of a neanderthal.

On this much we agree, but if I were you, I'd get used to folk questioning the Rosenior call, as if Warne proves unable to muster his troops, there will inevitably be further questions asked.

That’s also fair enough and I respect that.

Curtains reacted to 1of4 in Fully fit midfield
First we'll need to sign a genuine winger, before we try playing them in midfield.

Curtains reacted to MadAmster in Have we missed this man
I think back to that long unbeaten run last season that ended when Max got injured. I get that some don't like him, as a player, but he's the glue that keeps the side together when fit and playing. A bit like Durban or McGovern. Overlooked, even dismissed, until they're not there and then you realise how important they are to the side.

Are you outing @Brailsford Ram as a Barrister or as Graham Richards or both ?

I'd have started Barkhuizen instead of Mendez-Laing, and Washington instead of Waghorn.
Not because the others aren't good, but I want to see whether Washington can create space for Collins in the way he does for Waggy.
And I thought Barks looked stronger than Sibley on Tuesday night so was unfortunate not to start. Mendez-Laing and Waggy to come on if needed.
I thought the team looked good defensively so wouldn't change that and options are currently limited in midfield. For that reason I would have also picked Sibs in there but he wasn't really ready for a start so soon after playing his first full 90 and it showed. Who else had we got though, with Embleton out as well now? It's a midfield curse at the moment!

Curtains reacted to Blondest Goat in Can anyone actually name a single improvement Warne has done since arriving?
Let's hope so. Had a year though now with few signs of improvement. Time running out for many.
