I think you've misunderstood me. I was saying that he did let managers manage, unless the original comment was about the dressing room incident? I can't think of any other occasion where Mel publicly interfered with the manager

I missed the word overall in front of running. 
My post was in support of Mel Morris who according to many document leaks on the internet had very serious health issues over the past 12 months including in one document which was headed as an "offer for sale memorandum"  which contained the statement that he was suffering from cancer earlier last year and undergoing treatment, I therefore get angry and take exception to assertions that he has gone missing has lost interest and is lacking in communication with a very hostile subset of supporters, all of whom appear to pile on without quoting anything other than their opinions which invariably are suppositions about conjecture.
Give the guy a break.

is anybody else a little more worried today ?
IF there’s a takeover happening … and IF they had money .. and IF our new  reinstated accounts were ok 
why would we be shopping for the likes of stearman and jags.

I know what ur getting at but I don’t think we can have a go at Mel for backing his managers .. he trusted their judgment with his money 
he just put his faith in the wrong people sadly

Exactly this.
It's a clear indication that new ownership isn't imminent, that Mel will spend no more than enough to keep us ticking over, and that we're still going to be under an embargo for the foreseeable future.
When Rooney says he can't yet sign the players he wants, does he mean the likes of Stearman? If not, why even look? Only if he's not confident of things changing anytime soon.
I'd also much rather keep Wisdom and Davies than Stearman and, possibly, Jagielka.

Rooney has said he has players who want to join us already lined up which cannot be completed yet.
Really no harm or worry having players come in to train and get fit, could be that they are in the building ready in case the takeover doesnt go through and we cant get the players already lined up, similar to how we got CKR last season.
The alternative is pin our hopes on our takeover and if it doesnt happen in time then we will be picking from the remaining free agents who are unfit and nowhere near ready to play...which is when fans will moan that we didnt plan for the takeover not happening.

Our defence.

There’s nothing in that interview to alarm us anymore than we are already.
We’ve cleared the decks of players that we won’t give a second thought to and I predict that by the end of the transfer window we will have signed a few permanent and loan signings. Rooney will have his squad to be judged against instead of past managers working with players inherited.
I’m sure that there are players willing to wait if it means playing for Derby under Rooney. 
Will we go up next season? No.
Will we get relegated? I don’t believe so.
Things will look better in 5 weeks time. 

After that last game end of season with the greatest of respect to him but I don’t want fozzy anywhere near our first 11
