  1. Hope it goes well on the coaching front for him, but I think his days of playing regularly football are behind him.Thankfully Warne realised soon enough that he couldn’t cut it anymore as a regular player/starter, as if he hadn’t there’s no way we’d have got promoted. I wish him the best of luck though. 🐏

  2. Do the Club have any new Season Ticket Card Holder sleeves available at all ?.
They are only plastic and mine has gone brittle and is falling to pieces - it’s now more sellotape than Card Holder !! 🫣🐏

  3. He’d be ok to bring in for last 15/20 mins when players are fading and knackered, as he’d be about fit enough as them - but for £12k a week off the bench isn’t good enough return. - so I wish him well, but I think Thompson brings so much more to the team and thus some of CH’s wages should be used to give Thommo a better deal 😃🐏

  4. Don’t think we’ve ever had anybody who was a proper football thug.
Mick Harford was proper hard and would definitely make me think twice about going in to a 50/50 challenge.
Special mentions would also go to Dave Mackay, Frannie Lee and Bruce Rioch - all of them could look after themselves, but the thought of Mick Harford makes me wince 🫣🐏

  5. I’d quite like a mini Scottish tour - Arbroath on a Tues night would be great, it’s literally 5-10m from the sea and I’d like to try one of their famous Steak & Black Pudding Pies.

Elgin or Inverness on the Thurs night and Queens Park would be great for a night out in Glasgow on the Sat night.

A few pints of ‘heavy’ and a Battered Mars Bar & Chips supper,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Aye that’ll dooo fay meee !!!! 😃🐏

  6. I hope the ideal scenario is an away win at Cambridge Utd on Sat - that would absolutely be a suitable outcome for the Away fans who’ve backed the team very loudly all season and then we either win or draw the final home game confirming promotion in front of a full house, where we can all give our gratitude to the players and especially to David Clowes who rescued the club for us all.
Whatever anyone thinks about the Manager, Coaches and Squad, they will have achieved promotion which not that many players or managers have achieved in the last 50 odd year - it would be a doe idk day for us all to come together and celebrate together.  Here’s hoping !! 🐏🤗

As someone in the background said "f***ingredients embarrassing!"

Fighting with your own fans. 🙄

In the heat of the moment, even folk in the West Stand Upper were on their feet, and that's understandable, but they sat down again when play settled down.

It's the wilful standing that needs sorting.

I enjoyed watching that - the young lad gave a pretty reflective account to go with his video 👏🏻👏🏻 🐏😃

  9. I tend to see it somewhat differently to the way you do. You say Bolton were the better team - I argue that our defence and goalkeeper were better than your attack and our attack was better than your defence. It matters not how much possession or dominance you had it meant diddly squit. Other than the two shots that were brilliantly saved (I concede that the header seemed harder to miss than score, but it was brilliantly saved) you troubled our goalkeeper very little cans the shots fir both sides were the same. Derby converted one of their 6 goal attempts and Bolton didn’t score any from their 6 attempts
Bolton very rarely got in Derby’s Penalty box and as I’ve said before Derby’s defence is pretty damn good and delt with everything well.

1/  Oh, I appreciate you were airing a prediction, and that "There's time yet".  👍
2/  Has it started already?  I'll have to take your word for that, as I don't currently have time to pop back and check out all the bickering.
3/  Shall we say same time Sunday, or would you prefer a few weeks?
4/  Get back to me on No 3.

Anytime is fine, but there’s always the chance I could be washing my hair, or what’s left of it !!
I’m throwing a birthday party at Barnsley tomorrow and I’ve invited around 5000 folks - should be a fun party, but I’m afraid it’s a bring your own booze affair !! 🎂😂🐏

No bickering on here, thus far. I haven't had a ST since the 83/84 season as I knew I was moving to the Netherlands early on in the 84/85 season. I saw the opening 8 League games, home and away. The last one being Millwall away on Tuesday October 2nd and we lost 2-1. If I bought one for next season (65+) in the East Stand it would set me back £402.75 which works out at £17.51 a game. If I lived in England I'd buy one in a flash. As it is I'll buy match tickets per game when I'm over.

I want one, I can afford one but won't be buying as it doesn't financial sense.

Yes, I totally understand your situation.
Do you go to any games in Holland, or follow any particular team - I’ve been to see Ajax, PSV and Den Haag a few times. The Ajax v Feyenoord game was something else !! 😃

Early days still but there aint a lot of "bitching" on this site. If you look at places like X then you should expect it.

Yes, not so much on here to be fair, but as you say, plenty on other places already.
I don’t think the Club can ever win tbh, whether its yearly inflation trickles or a necessary increase after a 5 year ‘hold’.

I can never understand folks queueing up for a £6/7 pint and £4/5 rancid pie/burger, but I suppose that’s the beauty of choosing how to spend one’s money isn’t it.
I still think Derbys Season Ticket Prices are pretty good compared to other clubs.
I wonder what people will say if we ever get to the promised Premiership land - there’ll need to be Defribrillators everywhere !! 😂😂🐏

    That's right mate.

Ignore the fact the comments so far have been fair and understanding/understandable.

You get your kicks in early, before the bickering even starts.
Way to go, Mr Positivity!  🙄

If you read my post in such detail, you’ll have noticed the bit that says ‘’that’s coming in the new few days/weeks’’,,,, which has started exactly as I predicted - let’s not let detail get in the way of accuracy eh !!
But feel free to come back after those few days/weeks and demonstrate that I was completely incorrect in my prediction  - I’ll even laugh bout it too 😂

  15. Christ,,,,,,, I’m so looking forward to all the bickering about Season Ticket prices that’s coming over the next few days/weeks.
it’s quite simple really, If you want one, can afford one, then buy one - If you want one, but can’t afford one, then unfortunately you’re not buying one - If you don’t want one, well that answers itself !!
Whichever one it is, simply act accordingly, but bitching about it changes nothing.

For me, I want one, can afford one, so I’ll be renewing.

I personally think £345 (my cost) is great value and gives me an immense amount of pleasure/pain over 9 months of the year. 🐏🤗

Warne  8  called the team, formation, substitutions very we today against a very competent, strong, physical and well organised opposition with the players available 👏🏻👏🏻🤗🐏

  17. It’s not Warne’s fault that we are unable to sign the players he wants - it’s because of the strict business plan model that we had to agree too with the EFL. The club has the money to buy players and loan players, but we can only spend the amount that was agreed in the ‘loan’ pot and ‘purchase’ pot - we have other money but are not allowed to access it !!

There isn't much that we can do about it 🤔
