Bang on the money .
This team lacks that steel factor when the tide turns on the pitch ... the players who can step up and fight the tide ... we have'nt got them
The Shrewsbury game was dead at HT but we draw it .. and this .. . I'm losing faith with this team to win games in a Play off situation... we are lacking a few kind of players who will stand up .

Watching SKY it's easy to see that football is eventually going to die.
Whatever her name is, Jamie Mackie and Cowley 1 or 2 discussing tonight's penalty, said its a hard one to call, justifying the player cheating by saying White stuck his leg out so minimal if any contact was enough to dive, and praising the ref for giving a positive decision.
THE GAME IS DYING, and this mealy mouthed approval is just helping it on his way.
The Plymouth guy dived, they beat us because they cheated and that is apparently OK. We'll it isn't ok with me, you make your own minds up

It was simulation. The player knew what he was doing and the Ref was MUGGED.

I have just got back in (not from Plymouth) and was going to ask the question whether sky have had the balls to call out was a blatant dive. I’m guessing not.

This team lacks steel and grit. Some decent enough players, but we need some hard men in this league

I am. They play some nice stuff, just lack some cutting edge tonight. Maybe that is down to our setup and organisation. They are second for a reason, let's not forget that.

Bunch of Hackers and journeymen with a manager who will go on to spaff it off at say Luton or southampton.

OssieEnd got a reaction from Tyler Durden in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Can I just say, my post above was meant in a different way than it's been taken. That's my fault. I should have elaborated more so lesson for me there. I think Warne is doing great and I'm very happy with him. Although I'm wondering what he said to the players at half time yesterday !
No, what I meant was I think under Liam I really don't think we would have won alot of the games we have done.I want him to do well at Hull though.

Before this season started . We had no club.
Let's just get some perspective. To be where we are just now ... wow ... I'm so happy with that !
We will be in the Play offs ..

OK> So when Rooney just about gets two hands on the back of the Shrewsbury player, its a peno. Probably quite rightly. But when Dobbin was pushed two-handed at the other end of the pitch, it isn't a peno. And when a Shrewsbury handles the ball in the area with both hands, it isn't a peno. Or Didzy commits a "professional" foul, the ref plays advantage, and when the ball next goes out of play, he shows a card to Didzy. Quite correctly. Then later in the match, Smith is bringing the ball out of defence and is completely wiped out by a Shrewsbury player. The ref plays advantage, but then does absolutely nothing about the foul. Are you beginning to see a pattern? And this goes on match after match after match. As I have already said, if this happened on the odd occasion, and affected both teams equally, there would not be a problem. But it doesn't. How many matches can you honestly say the we got the majority of the refereeing decisions in our favour?
And never mind getting a peno against us for light hand contact, how many absolute stonewall penalties have been seen turned down for Derby? (You will need a lot of fingers for that one).

Ok it's the play offs then.Warne put us up within striking range of the autos, but just to stay there we had to keep on winning. And winning. Wednesday and Plymouth dont lose very often. Our relatively poor start has cost us. No blame on PW.
But we should be play offs bound now.Yesterday just closed the lid on an extremely unlikely top two finish, so we should all stay positive.
The reasons to get out of this league ASAP are ... the refs .. ( criminally bad) ..the opposition ( simulation, cheating , time wasting, trying to get players sent off, honestly it's worse in this tier than in the two tiers above ! ..something I didn't know ) and financial. Plus getting Derby on a stream now it hardwork as L1 is invisible. And we should be visible. We are a big club.
We move on. Just also thinking about "leaders" on the pitch when the rhythm and momentum on the pitch swings to the opposition. Yesterday that was lacking.
