6 League games in, seen all 6 live via RamsTV here in the Netherlands. I must admit I've enjoyed all 6. Long may the enjoyment continue

Absolutely. He puts in an awful lot of very good work, much of which doesn't get seen because fans are following the ball. he'll run wide, taking one or two defenders with him leaving space for others to take advantage of. First goal against Grimsby, good pass from Tommo, Collo to Dobbin (Collo then ran wide knowing NML was already central in the box), Dobbin to NML, defender just beats him to it and the ball rebounds of another defender onto the post and NML taps it itno the empty net. Collo had come out of the box and asked for the ball, Tommo obliged.
Might that just be the "problem"? He does so much work, going wide coming back deep etc..... shouldn't he spend more time in the box, round about where NML was for the first?

Apart from a handful of wind up merchants on FaceBook who are doing a great job of upsetting the locals on the L1 banter page there, there seems to be a contentment. We still have a club being the biggest factor to that. We also have an owner who is a proper fan, North Stand ST holder for years. Also a proven businessman who has grown his late dad's business. He says he wants stability and sustainability. I take that to mean he's not going to spend money the club doesn't have. That's brilliant. It would mean we'd never have to go through the mangle of possibly going out of business ever again. We have a manager who seems to have things organised. What he's done, along with his staff, turning a a 5 man squad 5 or 6 weeks ago, into a squad of 20 odd players who look like they will entertain and maybe even threaten the top few. Time will tell if that will happen. Bit by bit, the pieces are slowly clicking into place. Top half by Christmas would give us a good go at making top 6 or better, aided and abetted by a couple of tweaks to the squad. Looking at the squad we seem to have at least 2 players vying for most positions. Will it be sufficient to be successful this season? We will have to wait and see.

We opened that 84/85 first season back in D3 away at Bournemouth, 1-0 defeat. 4 wins, 4 defeats and 2 draws in the opening 10 games, saw them all. Millwall away was the last. 3 days after that game I moved to the Netherlands, still here.

Looking at what has happened across the pond with Slyncio and Kirchner since he pulled out of the deal to buy DCFC, it looks nailed on that we dodged a bullet. My own thoughts are that he was looking to do a Glazier on us. Buy the club and then lump all the debt incurred in the purchase, including the purchase price and other costs like lawyers, accountants, travel, hotels....... in order to put that money back into the slyncio account he had taken it from. He would be in the clear and DCFC would have been saddled with more debt..... and probably liquidation. His lawyers and accountants will more than likely not get paid.

Sibley gets brought on in midfield, his proper position and makes a difference. Hopefully Liam has come to the conclusion that he's not a winger. I was also extremely impressed by his demeanour. Clattered twice inside his first 2 minutes on the park. my first thoughts were will it be yellow or red? He kept his cool and simply played football. I hope he keeps it up.

Doing my bit. As per usual I have my RamsTV subscription at £17.50 a month. Having seen one fan pump around £50M into saving the club, the least I can do is put some money in to help the club so, for the first time since I emigrated almost 40 years ago, I am buying a season ticket. I can afford to get over for between 6 and 8 away games and that will cost me between 3 and 4 grand in flights, hotels etc. C'mon Ewe Rams.
Back on topic, since we passed the 10K STs sold, there have been no further updates. Are we stuck at around that number? It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the figures aren't rising because, taking inflation and the cost of living into account, many can't buy until the Direct Debit facilities are in place.

The only figures we actually KNOW are the number of seats currently unavailable.
How many ST's sold so far? We don't know. All we know is that 10300+ sold in the first 2 days they were on sale. How many more were sold on Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue? They haven't said.
One thing I do know is that I will be buying a season ticket. My first in 40 years since emigrating. I still live abroad and might make between 6 and 8 games as per usual but there comes a time to stand up and do what you can for  the club. I already pay £17.50 a month for RamsTV. I can afford a season ticket so will buy one. Bloody airlines are forcing plane tickets sky high but I'll just have to grin and bear it. 1 game a month at around 500 a throw all in. DTID.

Daniel lad, don't let this worry you. You posted innocently and with no malice aforethought. That should be the over-riding consideration here.
Don't let them grind you down. Keep on being you. There's nowt wrong with that. A few weeks down the road you'll know who's who and won't be struggling to describe a player. If there is a new one you could always check the team sheet if you're not sure of a name. The new player will be the one whose name you are unfamiliar with. Your enthusiasm has always been infectious. Keep on keepin' on. UTR!
