The thing that gets me is you would think that when someone is planning the road maintenance they might think about there being big events in the area and delay when the maintenance starts to allow traffic to clear. I guess that costs money though.

Yes quite.  All those PSG fans who turned for the champions league final were there to support their own team, as were those in Hungary last year who had to play behind closed doors.
Perhaps we could have experienced a bit of Europe ourselves in the late eighties but something happened that caused a banning order preventing us.  Some club who perhaps weren't concentrating on just supporting their own team.
Memory escapes who might have caused that scenario.  Can anyone help.

I got back just after 2. What really annoyed me about those roadworks is you had the slip road shut. then you had 5 lanes merging into 1 lane for the roadworks only to find the lanes coned of for absolutely no reason. there wasn't any work going on. So tempting to go the other side of the cones.
Aside from that enjoyed the game and think both fans and players gave a good account of themselves.

In Q1 and Q2 it lost a million subscribers but in Q3 it added 2 million more than offsetting any losses. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying Netflix is this amazing thing. However, I like the programs on there, you can watch when you want and it's up to you if you pay for it or not.
The one television service that is doing bad is SKY. That's because their TV offering is very poor. It's very expensive for what you get. i stopped subscribing years ago.

I don't get all this BBC is special, no it isn't. It's just another TV service. I object to being forced to pay for something I don't want. If it was so good let people pay for it on a subscription basis or introduce advertising.
