ChaddesdenRam
Us and Oldham I'm sure Everton and Fulham were after this Russell in January??? Oldham would be a bit of a poor move for him. We should be able to compete wages, he is from Scotland after all.
SuperWard10
Would this guy be any better than what we already have? yes he has scored 20 goals this season but that is the same as billy mckay who would be a cheaper option. probably paper talk as he was linked with premiership teams and now oldham! you wonder where they get these stories from
North_Stand_Ram
I'd have him. Whenever i've watched him he's looked a decent player. Wouldn't complain.

Scott129
^This. He actually played for another 20 minutes with the fracture. Could be a blessing in disguise though if we are in for him. He was on fire this season (1 in 2 goal ratio I believe) and this injury might have put some of the bigger clubs off.
inter politics
That's true...just depends on whether this is a one-off kind of injury or not.
WestLondonRam
I'll have him playing with the broken leg for 20 minutes over playing Sammon and Martin together. Sign him up
randombc
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22263443 Catania had a bit of 450,000 euros, approximately £380,000 bid rejected for him recently. A bid of £500,000 - £600,000 would probably be enough for him to be sold, not bad for a player with a record of 1 in 2 in Scotland, and still only 23 years old? That's what, 11-12 odd goals a season in the Championship. Think of how much we could boo him come May next season! Not 20 goals a season, not worth it from what I can tell around here. Ramchope
Please Clough, sign this guy up ASAP! Class act in the Scottish League (i know its *****), would add much needed quality up top behind a striker that can hold up the ball (Chris Martin?). Fingers crossed. Albert
8 goals from Sammon - "Terrible"11-12 goals from Russell - "Class act"I am greatly confused.
