Crewton Posted yesterday at 08:06 Share Posted yesterday at 08:06 A classic from the Ram Brewery in Wandsworth, now brewed by Charles Wells in Bedford, a "Ram and Special" (half of Young's Special Draught Bitter and a bottle of Ramrod) was my drink of choice in Young's pubs in SW London when I lived there:-

angieram Posted yesterday at 10:27 Share Posted yesterday at 10:27 It's not even beer but it's got a Ram on it! No idea if it's any good, I have had it about 15 years already without opening it, so it's going tonight as a raffle prize. No idea whether it will still be drinkable? Whisky doesn't mature or deteriorate once it's bottled. A mate of mine used to enthuse about this whisky, and another called Pig's Nose way back in the late 70s, so it's a well established brand. angieram

I've drunk that Malt in the past and would happily have relieved you of the bottle. Luvvly jubbly. angieram
NottsRam
Named after the local Yorkshire Dales farming term ‘riggwelted’, where a sheep has rolled onto its back and is unable to get back up. A Dark Strong Ale clocking in at 5.7%, you might be able to guess why.
