I get what Warne was saying the other day about needing to be braver and more clinical in attack, Wilson did brilliantly then and by the time he’d taken an extra touch and decided his next move the pass to Collins wasn’t on and Reading clear. We’re too hesitant in attacking areas at times

He seems to take great delight in being in precisely the wrong place at precisely the wrong time.

A unique attribute for a striker.

He ends up on the left when NML wanders central.

Otherwise there would be nobody out wide to receive the ball.

Think it's a bit unfair to say "we" are sloppy - it's Bird and NML. So much of our play is based on those two taking it in tight areas, or taking a man on in the case of NML. They don't look sharp.

 

 

Since I’ve posted this it seems like the entire team’s joined them in sympathy
