Almost 19,500 tickets sold, tremendous effort. Up 18% on last season. Direct debits should be back next season. They show that last season's sales were around 16,500 with just under 15,000 renewing this season. So that suggests that there are around 4,500 new season ticket holders this season, which is an amazing figure. It also suggests that around 1,600 fans didn't renew, of which a majority were direct debit customers. Some of these will have been waiting for the direct debit option to come back, which we now know will not happen this season. Hopefully, these people will have a plan B and will be able to renew before the end of the month. It's a pity that the club couldn't sort out some way of arranging a direct debit payment plan either through the club itself or a third party organisation.
