Still has 2 years left on his contract so would cost something... we'd be better off getting a youngster on a free to just be a squad player. Richard Nartey looked decent at Burton last season and has been released by Chelsea? Or give Wassall Jr. a squad number? Both would be better options on a limited budget IMO. Could be a decent replacement for Davies and as cover if we get Clarke back on loan. Would leave us with Wizzy, Clarke, Dutch Mike and this guy. Ambitious Posted July 24, 2020 Share Posted July 24, 2020 For what it's worth, he was Who Scored's top rated CB in league one this season ahead of Dickie. Although, I don't think his passing is to shout about, if anything it's a massive red flag. He plays 17.3 accurate short passes a game to 9.5 inaccurate short passes. Dickie, on the other hand, 39.7 to 5.8. I guess this guy would be cheaper, obviously puts up impressive numbers defensively, but Dickie seems to be the ball-playing CB that fits our philosophy better.
