Tonight isn’t about the result, it’s a pre season friendly.

Worth mentioning Bristol City returned to pre season training a little earlier on the 27th June and 2 games played already.

The first didn’t seem much of a game though beating Hallen 14-0 which Weizmann scored a hat trick in.

We should be happy with anything less than 0-7

Hope to see a good game with total football from both teams, score doesn't matter

Not exactly sure what you mean by total football but, might be a little optimistic to expect anything special from only the second pre-season friendly in somewhat warm conditions.

I think Bristol should win tonight. Mainly because they are ahead in their preseason than us and have a Manager that’s been at the club for awhile now so there’s a consistency there we don’t have the luxury of.

The best thing to come out of tonight is improved fitness and sharpness and it will show Cocu where his deficiencies are within the team for the way he wants to play.

Totally agree. As long as we win. ?

For Bristol it will be interesting to see what szmodics is like. Can't help wondering if we missed out there.

For us, it will be interesting to see what Cocu does with Marriott. We need to get him in the starting eleven.

Granted it was against teams lower down in both games, but Szmodics has looked a steal so far, and from the stuff being put out on our Twitter it looks like he's already settled right into the squad.

We've had a lot more time to acclimatise to the conditions though.  Don't think that can be under-estimated.

Like friendlies sometimes because you can just enjoy a game without stress, pretend injuries, time wasting, bitching to refs and diving mostly

Everyone wants to see a good performance but at the same time you have to remember there's more intense training going on too. It's not just a match played for fun but the whole build up to the game is different.

Either team could take away a mountain of positives from a 3-0 defeat. They might care about the fitness stats, they might want to see a focus on defensive shape or trying things in attack that don't suit how the game is being played out.

Some fans always look into friendlies too much. It will happen with this game. If Bristol win comfortably then there'll be talk from some how much more prepared they are for the season.

For fans it should be a time to relax in the sun and enjoy the kickabout without the nonsense.

For the clubs and players there's so much more they want out the games than a win. A win is nice if he comes with what you're doing. Nobody sets out to lose.

But you watch, wait for some of the comments from either clubs fans after the result. Thankfully it will be a minority.

Is this Andi's hasidic Jewish cousin? ?

I fully expect us to lose and it doesnt matter.

Bristol City are ahead of us in pre season and haven't changed managers.

I reckon we'll see the four who didnt play against Sarasota (Carson, Buchanan, Mitchell-Lawson, Anya) and maybe even Dowell all start the first 45.
