Duracell
Can’t believe Bueno isn’t higher up peoples’ lists. Outstanding talent, playing way below his level. Shame Clough couldn’t get his one Rolls Royce player to work with his squad of Reliant a Robins.

MaltRam
1) Leon Osman. Single handedly dragged us out of the mire. 2) George Thorne. Turned a good side into a marvellous one. For a bit. 3) Mason Mount. Class. If he was a stone of muscle heavier he'd be playing for Chelseas next season in the CL. 4) Tomori. Quickest central defender I've ever seen in a Rams shirt? Probably. 5) Harry Wilson. Goals...but been a while since a FK hit the net. 6) Arturo Lupoli. Poor man's Harry Wilson. 7) Mickey Thomas. Non-stop, appetite, obviously had been a cracking player. Don't change him a £20 note though. 8)Benito Carbone. Tekkers. (Thanks @admira I'd forgotten he was a loanee) 9) Paul Dickov. Grafter. Love to see that kind of commitment. 10) Mattias Svensson/Luke Moore/Lee Johnson. Cloughies inspired bit part loanees that came in and improved us in the short term. Astute. Apologies to Andre Wisdom. He deserves to be in there somewhere, but it's all gone a bit sour for him here hasn't it. Worst loan ever...Tamas Priskin. Never ever once gave a single solitary duck about being here or raised a sweat in effort. Muppet.

Ambitious
Thorne Osman Mount Tomori Ince Wisdom Wilson Lupoli Carbone Bamford I think Bamford edges others due to his influence in getting us into the play-offs, he seemed to score a decent amount of important goals. George Thorne was different class when he was on loan.
Carl Sagan
Leon Osman (kept us in the second division) Taribo West (largely kept us in the top flight - with God's help) George Thorne (almost took us up automatically - if only Eustace had been booked sooner) Fikayo Tomori (stood in for Curtis Davies and was better - fastest ever Ram?) Harry Wilson (some of the best goals I've ever seen) Mason Mount (Will move up the list if he gets us promoted. Has been good. Saving the best till last?) Jordan Ibe (would have got us up had he not played so well as to be recalled) Chris Martin (he looked quality on loan and paved the way to become a true star for the club) Jamie Ward (another player who was quality both on loan and after signing) Arturo Lupoli (some key goals and something different to get us promoted)

ronnieronalde
Tin hat on. I really should know better by now but STILL after years of daft rows I can't resist ? Those who think Chris Martin was poor for us during his loan spell are probably the same people who couldn't (or wouldn't) admit we were playing some great stuff under NC long before Steve came in. He showed some real glimpses of pure class, it was fitness he lacked, not quality. ** football fans in not knowing a good player if he hits them between their eyes, shocker. Some surprising posters thinking he was awful, including a couple who's football views I usually rate highly. Martin was brilliant, even in the 10 games or so NC was still here THAT season. Red_ram
Random mish mash from me. osman - we’ve got some quality this season but this guy carried us on his own. tomori - honestly wasn’t sure at first as he seemed to lose anything airborne at first, but been great. mount - just quality. Simple as. ince - pleasant surprise that he found his old self. Surprise to everyone judging by the fairly meagre agreed fee. now to go left field to mix it up (not actually the best): tommy Mooney - the fog of time descends but I remember us being in the proverbial at the time and desperate for players and remember this guy putting in a good shift and being sad when couldn’t retain him. chris makin - it’s low when you borrow players from Leicester but I remember him being a proper solid defender. No bells and whistles but did his job well. mattias svensson - fleeting stay but did well in a short time. Hossan ghaly - a rare bit of quality in amongst dross. michael tonge - might have been rubbish but I remember him doing alright mounir el hamadoui - absolute quality, unfortunately crocked. Now for the fun bit. Players we thought were ok/average/rubbish who went on to better things? I’d have: Whittingham livermore Tom carroll bannan adam Smith jesse lingard michael Keane
