More likely that the Rowettball factor brassed a few fans off....

But I thought, reading on here that Lampard was a god.

I also thought that lots of people liked 'Rowettball', from what I read on here.

You mean this forum can be wrong sometimes?

How many would they have sold if Rowett was still here!?!?

Fewer than with Frank I would imagine, but I think a lot of people lost some enthusiasm last season (probably the straw the broke the camel’s back for many and a new manager isn’t a going to get them going again until or if promise/hope turn into reality)?

20,000 season ticket holders is still extremely good at that level. There was a time in the early/mid 2000’s where we had attendances below that.

I thought we had never had an attendance under 20,000 for a league game at Pride Park?

Most of the rest around 21/22,000, apart from Forest and a random 30,000 crowd for Burnley, it was a bit grim that season. If my memory is right we went into the last home game against Millwall needing to win to ensure safety.

Even in Nigels reign in 2012/13 we had crowds only about 60 more than 20,000. Until SM arrived our attendances were back on a downward spiral.

They actually didnt properly recover until the following season post play off final.
