the problem is they cant play under pressure when the chips are down , we are a laughing stock to other fans . 

Its happened under different players and different managers . 

The players that come to derby have to be very mentally strong football players because of the expectation.

Season by no means is over, but we need to get ourselves together and consolidate top 6. We can't keep chopping and changing fullbacks.

So what’s the common thread then? This is what I meant earlier by the fans actually holding is back. It’s the weight of expectation from the fans that seems to keep bringing them down. 

The closest we’ve come recently was Mac 1, when we really didn’t expect anything. Shame what happened in the final, but until then, the fans were just enjoying the ride. Ever since then, we expect to be there or there abouts, and put pressure on the team. We’d almost be better off disappearing into mid table for a few seasons, then trying again. 

We need to get realistic, remember that we would have been shocked to even reach the play offs this season, and enjoy the ride. Then maybe the players will start enjoying the ride too.
